... there are thousands out there who need to know they can come home.
I though I made it clear that the remedy/antidote
for the habitual sinner is REPENTANCE.
Is not this the way back home?
Or ...
Is this not the way back home?

If you wish, we can tackle one problem at a time.
Please refer to this thread ...
Proof: You were only forgiven of your past sins!

Right, he is encouraging those to walk by the spirit and remember that God has forgiven them and not to walk by the flesh. 2 Peter 1:4 is all fruits of the spirit.

When Jesus died, He looked down the timeline of your life and forgave you of all of your sins. The whole NT says forgiven ()past tense). That means past, present and future sins. You are completely forgiven. Keep in mind BC Senior that it takes shed blood for you to be forgiven. Jesus isnt in heaven dying and shedding His blood for you, he forgave you, once for all. That means once for all sins, for all time. Hence him saying "it is finished". You are a completely forgiven person. It is not progressive or "positional" as I see so many people say. Its not what the bible says. Yes you can pick out a verse that tells people to remember that they were forgiven and use it for your purpose however that is not what the whole New Testament speaks to.

Repentance was not when the son went home and said he was sorry, it was when he was eating what the pigs were and what happened? He changed his mind, repentance.

Yes, past tense from when one is born again.
If we are completely forgiven for all future sins,
then why are there so many warnings about
losing salvation, gaining eternal death, etc.?
What do you think of my signature?
(I'm asking all of the questions of you
because you understand everything.)

Please show me verses that point to the loss of salvation.... I have read the NT several times and have yet to see it. Keep in mind, Jesus said no one can snatch you from His hand, so does He double talk or is He a liar or are you mistaken?

No one except yourself ...
since you have free will, a lot of it is on you
(it's not all on the precious indwelling Holy Spirit).

So then tell, me who is bleeding dying for your sins as you ask and why does scripture say "once for all" So if your not forgiven for all of your sins, what happens when you forget one or dont recognize it? There are 613 rules, do you have them all memorized so you can identify them all? Remember, God doesnt wink at sin. So how are you getting forgiven since it is a blood economy?

You cannot escape the love of God, you cannot make yourself lose your salvation. He has sealed you until the day of redemption. So tell me, how do you lose your salvation?

I'm not sure of your verse, but Jesus did die
once for all people groups, ethnic groups, etc.
Perhaps He died once for all people ...
but it was only for those who truly believe in Him!

True saving faith = enduring belief
+ enduring faith + enduring obedience

This is what the NT teaches ...
for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Doesnt "All" mean "all"? All people groups, all people, all sin? He died for everyone, even those who didnt believe. He died for all of us in the hope that we would respond to Him. Thats what saves, our repentance, changing our mind and seeing our need for Him, He already for gave us.

••• Mark 9:43 “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell,
into the fire that shall never be quenched”

This is Jesus speaking to Jewish lawkeepers, preparing them for what He is about to do. He was showing the true spirit of the law, Moses 2.0, Moses on steroids. He is telling people they need Him, they cannot be made right by obeying the law.

Do you really believe this? I can guarantee you have looked with lust, and thats a sin, so Im not sure how you are communicating with me if you are using your eyes. Jesus said my yoke is easy and my burden is light, does chopping off your hand and plucking out your eye sound easy and light?

If this is literal, why isnt our churches amputee wards?

JAYPT, you are free to pick any one you wish,
and tell us why it doesn't threaten salvation.
Some of the best NT verses threatening loss of salvation

Im sorry, the more I look at this page, there is nothing that threatens loss of salvation. Not one thing. My question to you is how are you convinced that you are eternally saved if it is by your works? How do you go to sleep at night without wondering if you are going to be saved? I would tend to think you must be in torment most days trying to figure out if you are righteous.

If Christs finished work on the cross is not finished because its all based on everything you do, why is it referred to as a finished work?

It is not literal.
It is demonstrating how serious sin is.
It is teaching on hell and what it's like there.

The work the Word came to do was finished,
and He got to go home to be with the Father.

Then He sent the Holy Spirit to take His place.

And now it's our turn to do our part in our salvation!
It's a co-operative effort ... and we have free will
to go along with God's Plan or not to go along.

God's Plan for us is in the NT.
All you need to do is read and understand.
All spiritual Truth comes only via spiritual revelation.

I am still curious who is currently dying, shedding blood for your sins? Remember thats what it takes.

Hebrews 10:10

And he sat down, something the levitical priests could never do, because it is DONE. There is no more forgiveness to be handed out, you are COMPLETELY forgiven brother. Why are you scared to admit that you are a forgiven, righteous person?
