Baby's dandruff problem

Lord, I don't understand much about skin & hair problems, but You understand it all. Please work through these minor difficulties in major ways, to show Your presence in all of our lives.

Sounds like baby has cradle cap. There are some natural remedies like almond oil or olive oil. Do a search for “home remedies for baby dandruff” and “cradle cap.”

However, your mom or your wife’s mom probably has better information.

Are you sure it isn't cradle cap? I doubt things have changed from years ago when I had children. You should be able to google it. A baby gets a build up of white or yellow stuff from the milk I believe it is from the milk. Anyway, We used to have to put an oil like baby oil on it and brush lightly so that it wouldn't build up. When you comb or brush the top of their head it will flake off like dandruff but it isn't. Please google it so that you won't be worried about it and can take care of it properly. Just remember to brush it gently with an oil on it if that is what it is as that is where the soft spot is where the skull hasn't closed yet. Don't worry, check it out. Some babies have more than others.

Yes if I remember you put the oil on for 15-20 mins and then gently comb. Then wash the head with a gentle baby shampoo.

Take her to a diet specialist, or skin specialist. She may need something.

My dog had dandruff and constantly shed, even though I bought dog food made specially for the stuff. I tried some kind of online food supplement and it fixed the problem but I ran out and it came back.
