"A Florida man shooting a handgun in his yard Sunday ended up shooting a neighbor who was sitting at her dinner table next to a window, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
The victim, 21, had injuries to her right arm and right side."

The bullet was fired by Juan Arreguin, 41, who was in his yard doing target practice. It traveled several hundred feet before hitting the victim.

The victim is Yaness Gomez, 22. She has been released from the hospital. The suspect, Juan Arreguin, was arraigned in court. The judge told him to stop shooting but apparently Arreguin has not had his guns confiscated, something that has been done is similar cases.

There have been similar stories before. This one happened in Riley Township, Michigan.

This story doesn't give the name of the victim or the name of the shooter. It does say that the victim was a 73 year old woman. The Sheriff confiscated at least two rifles from the shooter.

Gun owners should be required to practice at a shooting range.
I don't agree that is necessary in many parts of the country. It should depend on the location of where the gun owner is shooting. Certainly cities and townships can make laws against shooting within city/town limits.

Shooting inside a city or town is illegal everywhere in the country.
