Yes, and God did that to make sure Abraham realized that love towards God was first priority....
Yes, this is all very interesting, I'm sure, but it has no relevance whatever to a discussion of public policy except to the extent to which it informs your own personal opinion and your own one vote. I am not trying to argue against your opinion nor condemn it. I am only trying to point out that it is not necessarily normative to anyone else. If you have objective facts which we all can agree to in support of your position please bring them to our attention. Otherwise all you will be doing is explaining the reasons you hold your opinion, reasons which we are already fully informed of.

But you're not going to try to convince anybody else of that, just condemn them for not agreeing with you automatically, right?
Who is condemning anyone? I'm just stating facts. The fact is, when a woman is pregnant, she's having a BABY.

Going to have a baby. People don't tend to say "I already have a baby, it just isn't out yet."

No one I know refers to a fetus as a baby. Even the pregnant women I've known have referred to it as a fetus.

To me, defining a fetus as a baby is like defining an acorn as an oak tree...

As a mother who has carried NINE children in her womb, I can legitimately attest to the fact that the child living within me during each of my pregnancies was alive and not a lifeless piece of tissue. Sadly, I miscarried two of my precious children and I still deeply mourn the loss of these two babies.

I am sorry for your losses. Yes, they are your children (not lumps of tissue) and you will see them again.

That's hilariously ridiculous. And I am not buying that woman don't talk about their BABIES coming, being born, what he will wear, his or her name....

I know better.

I can just see some pregnant woman saying, "Wow, my fetus is really growing! Look at how far out my belly is!" Or " I just can't wait until this fetus gets here!"

I was emotionally devastated when I miscarried. The first time I miscarried my husband suggested that we should name our baby and we did. We did the same for our baby I miscarried last year.

I am truly sorry for your losses. My mom lost two as well (and now all my siblings are gone too). I can only imagine the pain.

I never once called the baby in my womb a fetus. My husband and I would always find out the gender of our unborn children and we would name our child right away. We always called each of our unborn children their name before they were born. I still have the sonogram pictures and the videos of each of my seven children who are still with me. 5 girls, 2 boys. My oldest is 25 and my youngest is 11.

That is perfectly normal, and most parents do that (if they find out the gender - we did not).

Apparently you don’t know better. I just messaged the mother of my child and she had this to say:

“I know the difference between a baby and a fetus. It’s a fetus in the womb, and a baby when it’s born.”

So don’t assume your experiences are the same as everybody else’s. I know at least one mother who always corrected people when they called her fetus a baby.

God agrees with you on that, as the scriptures state that John leaped in Elizabeths womb, not a blob of tissue!

Some people I know, that get knocked up. Say I pregnant, But I'm not sure, if I'm going to abort it, Or not. So its considered it, until they made up their mind. If some one truly wants it . They call it baby, miracle, Or even by their name if they know the sex.

The baby in the womb at time of birth is exactly the same as when it gets delivered!

God calls it a baby, so why don't we?

Go right ahead; nobody's stopping you. Those of your fellow citizen who don't believe that "God calls it baby" will call it something else. Why should they not?
