Donald Trump swipe at Beto O'Rourke's crowd size is wrong
Trump said that at O’Rourke’s rally in El Paso, there were "200 people, 300 people."

Our review of the available visual evidence suggests that the number is clearly several times that. Media reports suggest the number may have been much larger still, in the thousands.

We rate the statement False.

Trump lies about things like this that are so obviously false & unnecessary to lie about. Just out of pettiness. I don't think he thought for a second or cared that his lie made the El Paso fire dept. look like they'd broken the law, letting in more folks than legally allowed. They didn't have a choice but to go on record, calling out his dumb lie as such. The lie about Beto's crowd size was pitiful too, on account of how obvious it was. How unneeded. Donald's old enough to be Beto's dad, & he's telling whoppers about crowd sizes. Smh.

Claiming larger crowds feeds pride in being on the 'right' team, the winning team, it's all part of the advertising scheme, rather like 'more Americans buy Ford pickups than any other truck.' Trump wouldn't see that as lying but as advertising a product, himself.

It would be more environmentally friendly to only quote him when he tells the truth..

Now that sure would save a bunch of time, since he so rarely tells it.

Mornin' tulc,

Well, a lot of us understand that just about every fact and figure that comes out of that man's mouth is some made up imaginings of his own warped mind and soul. Like, how we're going to stop the flow of illegal drugs by building a wall. The man honestly can't have one ounce of understanding as to how drugs come into our country from abroad.,

God bless,
In Christ, ted

If you're a Republican, why do you feel the need to bash fellow Republicans like Trump? Sounds to me like you're being divisive.

Perhaps he puts the needs of America ahead of his Party affiliation?

This question is exactly why more and more people are choosing not to be affiliated with any party.

The question is divisive itself. If you don't defend a leader of the party than you aren't really of the party. This is the same hogwash that John McCain had to put up with.

If you're a Christian, why do you feel the need to ask why another Christian would care about honesty? I'm a Christian 1st & foremost. Then an American. I don't just accept things that aren't in line with Christian values & aren't good for America on account of being registered as a Republican. Kinda sounds to me like you're being divisive.

What are you talking about? Trump's candor and honesty are perhaps his two most defining traits.
