how is pharma related to drinking booze? Witchcraft is the practice of magic or any source of supernatural power outside of God. So witchcraft, the English use of the word pharma and booze are not related.

Because it is a mind altering sbstance/

Are all drygs bad?

or just some?

All drugs are witchract/.

If you do a study of the usage of "wine" and "strong drink", it is nearly (with one exception I found) always condemned for overuse (drunkenness). All things in moderation, unless it causes a weaker brother to stumble. That said:
  • Jesus' first miracle involved making lots and lots and lots of high quality wine
  • Jesus ate and drank with sinners and was accused of being a drunkard so they were not teetotaler parties
  • Jesus compares the gospel to new wine
  • Lots of "vineyard" illustrations in the gospels
  • Wine is Jesus' chosen, everyday substance to represent the blood of the New Covenant, which the early church is told to drink in remembrance of him as often as the drink of it...sounds like that's not once a week.

...you know this because you just...though it up?? NO WHERE in the Bible does it say that Jesus was drunk the night before. I take naps during the day, does that mean that I've gotten drunk the night before?? You can't just make up things to put in the Bible lol sadly it happens all to often but this is one of the more outrageous ones I've heard...

Drinking alcohol is not witchcraft. Witchcraft is define as the "practice of black magic", which involves the casting of spells. Before he was saved, my uncle used to dabble in black magic and witchcraft. It's a very real and very serious thing, but alcohol has nothing to do with it.

I suppose if you are seeking the mind-altering experience for the purposes of engaging in supernatural power out of God it is witchcraft. Intoxication could certainly put you in a more suggestible state but if I don't see that state alone implicit of witchcraft. All drugs are not bad, it is the intent of the drugs that would make them immoral/moral.

Hey Dreamer-

Interesting thought, but not possible for several reasons:
1) No mention of Jesus drinking "the night before", but...

2) There was a lot of strenuous activity mentioned though Jesus did a lot of hiking, walking, preaching, healing, etc. He was on a tight schedule. Being fully human, he got tired and hungry just like we do. That's why he's our Great High Priest! (Hebrews 2:14-18)

3) Drunkards don't inherit eternal life (1 Corinthians 6:10)

4) Since it's a sin to be drunk, Jesus couldn't do it even once and still be "without sin" (Hebrews 4:14-16).

5) If he was ever tempted to get drunk and did, he could offer us grace to resist temptation in our time of need (Hebrews 4:15-16)

6) Paul commands Christians not to get drunk on wine but to be filled with the Holy Spirit, sober and self controlled. Jesus had the Holy Spirit in unlimited measure and was always self-controlled (John 3:34, Galatians 5:22-24)

7) Drunkenness is one of the works of the flesh, fueled by our fleshly passions, the very thing Jesus died to save us from. It would be weird for him to fall victim to the very thing he came to rescue us from. (Galatians 5:19-21, 24)
