Does it feel supernatural or does it feel natural?
Is the conviction the same for the unsaved and saved?
How do we know if it's the Holy Spirit and not our flesh convicting us?
The Holy Spirit calls for repentance and turning to God.
2 Cor 7
8 For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it—
for I see that that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while— 9 I now rejoice, not that
you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to
the will of God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. 10 For the s
orrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but
the sorrow of the world produces death.

Eph 4
11 And He Himself gave some
to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14
that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head
