I'm saved. Anyone who participates in this forums is supposed to be a Christian according to the forum rules. This forum is about eschatology. Perhaps you are in the wrong forum for your interests?

But as far as your initial question...

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Lol you guys are funny sometimes..it's okay Doug , really, I'm not upset about it..however I do like to know what Luke verse 21:28 has to do with anything I said? Saved or not until we reached the finish line and claim the prize, we have to keep running until we make it there..and anyone can call themselves a Christian..it don't mean anything..and being on this forum don't make one a Christian, it only makes one a member...just like the one sitting in the front row at church on a Sunday morning..And I don't know, last time I checked I clicked on something called theology which then led me here LOL..I assume they all fit in the same category..it's cool though Doug..no hard feelings..we all have different opinions and yours is perfectly fine with me..

You are probably in the wrong forum for your interests. In this eschatology forum, we discuss the prophecies of the end times. So that is what you are going to get here.

The forum that discusses salvation is the soteriology forum
_______________________________________________________________

If you made a post "the coming of Elijah" and want to discuss that topic here, you are going to get end times discussion. Which I think you are finding that there is a lot to it. It takes effort on your part to advance from where you are now. That's up to you.

Don't take it out on others. Everyone here is putting forth effort as well. The nature of the forum is not going to change.

If you are going to participate in this forum, you are going to be one of us. And we posters here disagree with each other on just about everything. That takes effort too.

Sometimes, emotions go overboard and the moderators have to come in, and set things straight.

btw, welcome to the forum. I probably should have said that in my first post in this thread. It is for me, the best forum at this site.

Well, maybe I am confused but it seems to me theology Is like a philosphy of information of what it pertains to. and eschatology end times discussions seems to be like one of those topics in the catagory of theology. Just like math has different math problems..there's subtraction, multiplication and adding. Etc. Like I said your opinion was fine with me, I was just pointing out mine..I hardly come in this part of the forum cause like I told you it all seems like really bad "theology"...and reading that just gives leaves me puzzled and give me one really big headache...all that stuff gives me a headache ..hi BTW, I am an old member here..i just don't post much anymore..like I said no one will crack a Bible prophecy cause God keeps it seal for a reason that doesn't pertain to anyone other then who he lets it pertain to.. but have fun with just the assumptions...cause no matter what you do unless God reveals it to you, the truth will remain unknown..and who can possibly know the things God thinks about and keep hidden in his heart....and I am wasn't taking it out on others..i have no reason to do that right now however i do believe I was just talking to you now...

.like I said no one will crack a Bible prophecy cause God keeps it seal for a reason that doesn't pertain to anyone other then who he lets it pertain to.
Jennifer, you are using slang, so I don't know what you mean "no one will crack a bible prophecy..." And what specific bible prophecy(s) are you speaking of? Are you talking about the general philosophy you have?

It would also be helpful in reading your posts if you divided your posts into paragraphs.

The book of Revelation pertains to all Christians, and even those who are not yet Christians.

Revelation 1.3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

I'm sorry I type badly. And I thought the Bible said only one was worthy to do such a thing?

And I don't know, it' seems to have been a long time now and nobody seems to have got it right yet.. i bet when Jesus returns on the actual day, i bet most of y'all are going still have y'all head bowed low and nose pointed in the book of revelation trying to prophecy those prophecies....:( you remember the parable about the uninvited wedding guest , how he wasn't in a wedding attire how he didn't get ready cause he wasnt ready. He was dressed the wrong way cause he probably thought he could still get in without pertaining to the rules. And you know the one about the ten virgins, some of them had oil and some didn't cause they wasn't prepared..look around you, the signs are aroind us already, we dont need to understand some prophecy to confirm such things cause whether the truth comes out or not it's still gonna happening and close to happening now... And that's what a prophecy is, a revelation of future events...

Your typing is not bad. In high school, did your English teachers never teach you how to make paragraphs in some paper you are writing to make it easier for people to read?

Or is the issue that you don't know how to put a blank line between sentences using the keyboard?

Jesus was the only one worthy to open the book having 7 seals in Revelation 5-6. But since he did open it....blessed is whoever reads the book of Revelation and does what Jesus says to do within.

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Revelation 1-3, Jesus tells believers how to behave until he comes.
Revelation 4 John is prepared to see the future.
Revelation 5 Jesus is worthy to open the book with the seven seals about the future
Revelation 6-19 is about the end times events leading up to Jesus's return.

Oh and I dont dont want to overanalyze on that uninvited guest parable knowing we shouldn't add to the Bible but when someone invites someone to some party or a really important event of some sort with an invitation card and if they put certain requirements on it, like where to buy gifts and how they are to dress and stuff, and if that person they invited doesn't follow those requirements and if they go their without a gift and dressed in any kind of way it sounds to me like someone who is disrespectful ,who didn't care much about what that person put on the invitation and thought they could still get in any kind of way they wanted, not follow the invitation and thinking they wouldnt get caught and confronted by that person just like people who aren't invited anywhere but still go anyway...in other words they went in unready cause they didnt want to get ready cause they didn't give a poo! :nomouth:

Um I don't know , read in the book of Matthews about it. I believe it's in that part of the book somewhere. And it's not that hard to see with all the crap happening in the world, especially in the political world, that we are in that age in time and that it could very well be around the corner and coming close. I don't think Jesus did that already as those events are happening it is then when he who is doing it. And uh yes I do believe I remember the teacher taught us that but I'm not in school I'm on the internet , I don't care much about how I type on here but to make it easier for your eyes, I will try to type in a more significant way I guess. I'm not on a computer , but i'm on my cell phone and it's difficult with that, like I said i am sorry :grinning:

I think tethering runs down the battery on your cell phone really fast.

Wait.....Don't you believe "draweth nigh" means "still thousands of years away".

No this generation, not a thousand years from now.

I believe that drawieth nigh means when the end times events begin to take place, like Israel a nation again, and Jerusalem in the hands of the Jews, 1967, redemption is real close.
