Sin unrepented of remains unforgiven.
Again it’s right in front of your eyes, once you believe Christ you have nothing to repent. Are you arrogant enough that you feel you need to add to what Christ did on the cross?

You have a false gospel if you think repentance is optional.

So bank robbers can keep their jobs?

Bank robbers will be put in prison by the world, Christ will redeem and forgive them,

10 But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day,[*] says the LORD: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 11 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives,[*] saying, ‘You should know the LORD.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already. 12 And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”[*]

What if bank robbers don't get caught? Are they saved if the keep sinning. How about hookers where prostitution is legal? How about adulterers?

Dave you are to easy to argue with, you have the entire NT going against you. Let’s look at Romans 4

13 Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith. 14 If God’s promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and the promise is pointless. 15 For the law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it. (The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break!) 16 So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe. 17 That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.”[*] This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

We still have unrepentant sin to deal with. You cannot gloss it over.

But sin remains unforgiven if not repented of.

You repent when you believe Christ. It’s a one time deal. You don’t need to keep crucifying Christ. By his stripes you are healed. By his blood you are redeemed and your sins and lawless deeds will never be seen again.

Holiness is a life style, not a one time deal.

Your going to have to post some scripture in context for that one Dave. Point out one person who believed In Jesus Christ and Jesus denied them salvation
John 3:16 is kind of hard to argue against. Arguing against the blood of Jesus Christ is impossible.

16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave[*] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

You are to easy Dave, another quote out of context. Let’s put it into context and see how those peolple didn’t believe him. In context , this points how wrong you interpret the NT. Thanks for choosing this one. You should not question the blood of Christ :)

Many Disciples Desert Jesus 60 Many of his disciples said, “This is very hard to understand. How can anyone accept it?” 61 Jesus was aware that his disciples were complaining, so he said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again? 63 The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But some of you do not believe me.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn’t believe, and he knew who would betray him.) 65 Then he said, “That is why I said that people can’t come to me unless the Father gives them to me.” 66 At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him. 67 Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, “Are you also going to leave?” 68 Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. 69 We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.[*]” 70 Then Jesus said, “I chose the twelve of you, but one is a devil.” 71 He was speaking of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, one of the Twelve, who would later betray him.

Sorry, I missed that one earlier. Jesus always blessed sinners. Jesus always gave them forgiveness , mercy and grace. He used his blessings to change their hearts, something the law could never do. So if you know someone having problems (divorce) etc let them hear the gospel of Christ. Not condemnation, they probably already know they are messing up and don’t need anyone to remind them.

1. Midian, the Midianites, descended from Abraham and Keutrah. (Now Abraham had taken another wife, named Keturah, and she bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. (Gen 25:1,2)). Therefore, Moses’ wife, Zipporah, who was the daughter of Jethro priest of Midian, was of the lineage of Abraham (Exo 2:18-22; 3:1).

2. Cush, the Cushites, was a descendant of Ham (Genesis 10:6 The sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt, Put and Canaan. (Gen 10:6 NIV)) and were not associated genetically with Abraham, a Sematic. Cush is also called Ethiopia (Gen 2:13 KJV).

3. Moses, divorced Zipporah in Exodus 18:2: “And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Moses' wife Zipporah, after he had sent her away,” (NAS). The Hebrew dictionary at this point states, ”The meaning ‘send away’ is generally found in the Piel and is seen in Gen 12:20; Gen 18:16. Genesis 3:23 clearly involves an expulsion…”

4. Moses, years after his divorce of Zipporah, married a Cushite woman. (“And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.” (Num 12:1 KJV)). There is no way that this Cushite (Ethiopian), Moses’ new wife, was a Midianite, as one group, the Cushites, descended from Ham and the other, the Midianites, from Shem both sons of Noah.

5. Only by doing some type of gymnastics with the geography or with linguistics can anyone assert that Moses was not divorced and not remarried.

6. Moses obviously broke the Mosaic Code (pun intended) about divorce, and thus, Aaron and Miriam were upset – and rightly so, one would expect. However, God is not upset with Moses’ divorce and remarriage, but descends upon Moses’ accusers: Aaron and Miriam. Thus, we clearly see God’s view of divorce under the old law; He was gracious; how much more gracious is He now under the new law and time of grace.

7. Even though we humans like to categorize sins in the ‘least’ to ‘worse,’ God’s list of most grievous sin is quite different. God’s list of sins is recorded in Pro 6:16-19: “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Amazingly, divorce does not even enter the list grievous sins – neither does, shall I say it, homosexuality.

8. That all being said, divorce is a sin. It needs to be avoided at all costs.

Can hookers keep hooking after they become Christians?

Do you love sin more than Jesus? This is the issue. You cannot serve both. You need to choose.

It’s hard to believe you can read scripture and come up with that opinion. I guess reading it in context makes hard for your self righteous nature.
“The wages of sin is death” is an out of context quote you can use to appease yourself. I’ll stick with the bible in context.
