Hello, thank you for writing and sharing your situation with us. I know that is not always easy to do. First, if you believe that she is the one for you, then she must be a believer as well. Ultimately, she will see that this person is not equally yoked, and it will end. While you wait on her, you can do what I did when the Lord called me back to Him years ago: be married to Christ and keep your eyes focused on Him. Grow upward spiritually, closer to God. Before you know it, one of two things will happen: either she will be available and attracted to you or not. If she is, GREAT! If not, you will be in a much better position my Brother. I will be praying for you.
May God Bless You!
Btw…three years after the Lord called me back, I was on fire for Him and serving in the singles ministry. I was really attracted to this cute woman who played the piano and went to the single women’s group. I agreed to serve as the Sunday School administrator and main teacher for the mixed singles group and took the initiative to establish a group fun calendar for all 200+ singles in our church. As such, I also decided to start a through-the-bible study that started meeting at Starbucks on Friday Nights (later moved to people’s houses). I was able to rope this woman that I liked in because she really loved God’s Word. Though I did not know it at the time, she had dated someone like you described earlier, but had broken up with him because of his lack of love for God and His Word (so have faith!). We have now been married for 12 years and have four wonderful children!
