“Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;” (1 Timothy 1:9–10) (KJV 1900)
Romans 3
Romans 3:10-12
10 as it is written:
“
None is righteous, no, not one;
11 no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”
Romans 3:23
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 7
12So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good.
13Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Certainly not! But in order that sin might be exposed as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.
14We know that the Law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.
15I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do. But what I hate, I do.
16And if I do what I do not want to do, I admit that the Law is good.
17In that case, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
18I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh; for I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
19For I do not do the good I want to do. Instead, I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do.
20And if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
Romans 7
7 What then shall we say? Is the Law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have been mindful of sin if not for the Law.
The law is still in effect ... they are eternal .... we (those in Christ) are not condemned unto eternal death by it because Jesus paid our debt.
Christ is the embodiment of the law.
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:17-18).
Christ was not saying He ended the law, but rather that His thoughts and actions perfectly embodied its every intent. He “filled it to the full.”
Psalm 19:9-11
9
God’s laws are pure, eternal, just. 10 They are more desirable than gold. They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb. 11 For they warn us away from harm and give success to those who obey them.
The law stands eternally, Jesus stands in our stead and is the only one who can and through Him we are not condemned by the eternal law.
But the law? They are eternal.
Why did lucifer & the 1/3 get cast out of heaven? Because they broke Gods eternal law.
What is in the ark in heaven? The 10. Where are they? Under the mercy seat of the throne of God.
When's it is all completely over ... all (in heaven) will keep the laws of God and it will not take any effort to do so .... it will just be who we are ... in perfect harmony with AMEN!
His laws are laws of love.
