I am reading nkjv Bible and I'm a little stuck. I just got done reading Joshua and I have a question.
It has something to do with Judges 1 chpt 1
At the end did the Israelites let the people they invaded live with them. That could only make sense because they later worship idols and disobey God. Was that the reason they started to do that?

Yes, it was because they intermingled with the other nations and allowed them to stay with them. God wanted those people completely removed for a reason because he knew this would happen to his people. Those other nations introduced the Israelites to their customs and to their god's and eventually caused them to turn their back on God. What is crazy to me is that instead of the israelites having a positive influence on those other nations that lived with them, the other nations had the bigger influence.
