Before I was saved I used to be on a secular forum and we would take all these "end of the world" dates and whenever the latest date came around we would hold "end of the world" parties and post in the threads.. It was actually kind of fun, and funny at the time what with all the idiots who were sure the world was ending. .
Now that I'm saved its just sad. It's made Christianity nothing but a joke to the nonbelieving world, and I'm fairly certain it's worthy of a few tears what these false prophets have done to faith.
It's little wonder the Bible had the proscription to kill false prophets in Old Testament days. They do a terrible harm.

Of course the many hundreds of blood moons and eclipses witnessed by humankind over the millenia since Jesus of Nazareth walked the Earth have not been harbingers of widespread devastation and chaos. But yes, there is a possibility that the world will end on January 22. Or tomorrow. Or a week from next Tuesday. Or some far distant date.
Our job is not to worry ourselves about when it will happen. (There are days I sort of wish it would be sooner than later.) Our job is to introduce people to the Living God so that they will be ready, and be ready ourselves when it happens.
It is kind of fun to speculate though. I feel sorry for the gullible souls who believe this or that theory that such and such is the date, so they sell all they have and gather together to welcome the great event. I always wonder what happens to them when the big day comes and goes.

I saw a blood red crescent moon over a Mosque in Iraq once, no prophetic significance but I thought it was cool. I would find out later the red crescent was a symbol of their version of the Red Cross. I've seen so many of these predictions based on highly dubious rationalizations, they have become little more then a curiosity.
I've never gotten to see a blood red full moon or even a blue moon, I feel deprived.

I would be forced to wonder the prophetic implications of me being on the moon, I hope I get a space suit and a ride home, or it would be a short trip.

Sadly it's secular news like in the Op that turn others away from God.
The problem isn't in the Word it's in the interpretation thereof.
Those who have studied the whole Bible know that the Lord is merciful, and long suffering and doesn't just give a warning of a one time thing. Now since these Blood moons have started and on the dates they have been on it has brought attention to it around the world.
It's not that 'something ' is going to happen but it is like it says in Genesis it is a Sign. Jesus himself told his followers to watch and to look for signs in the heavens.
Notice what the first thing God says these lights are for 'Signs'
It is also for appointments, moeds or moedim. These are times that God himslef designated for his people to meet with him. The first is the Shabbat. Then there are Seven other Moed: Passover, Unleavened bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Yom Terruah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot.
It is interesting that the designation for the first of the year is in Spring and the first Holy Day is Passover, this day falls on a full moon The last Holy day (of the Seven Feasts of the Lord) is Sukkot. Now Sukkot lasts a whole week (Seven days) but it starts on the Full moon.
So the Lord thought it pertinent that his first and last feasts which celebrate him taking us from sin all the way to the Millennial Kingdom to both fall on the Full Moon.
Now it is said that signs in the Sun pertain more to the Gentiles and the signs in the Moon to Israel.
An example of that would be the Solar eclipse that crossed across the USA in August 21 2017.
Interesting facts about this
Someone mentioned earthquakes and if they could be related. Well interestingly enough where those paths cross it is just above the New Madrid Seismic Zone.
Now what's really interesting about those two solar eclipses and the timing (Seven years) and position (crossing each other) is that as many know the Sun is 400 times bigger than the Moon and it is 400 times away from the moon which is why there is totality in a solar eclipse. Now in the ancient Hebrew alphabet the last Letter is called a 'tav', this is also a number in Hebrew, as the first letter Aleph is also a 1, the last letter also stands for 400.
The ancient symbol for the Tav and is also translated as such in certain places of the Bible from the Hebrew, it means a sign. And also interesting is that the symbol was that of a cross! This could look like a t or a X.
It could look like any of these (the current tav is underneath on the first one and on the right on the second illustration. )
This is what needs to be looked at.
The 70th anniversary year of Israel ends this May.

To get an idea of how special that tetrad was here is a list of total lunar eclipses for the last ten years
If you look at it, there is a pattern in these 10 years
1, 2, 0, 0, 2, 2, 0, 0, 2, 1
There are ten of them in those ten years.
Also the only ones that fall on a Holy day are the two in the middle, 2014 and 2015

What does the word "CHRISTIAN" mean again? "Christian conspirators like pastor Begley" I don't know the guy.. I use to watch him when he 1st started.. oh praise GOD... was so wonderful.... I as GOD as my witness can't tell you all the times.. every video was about the night before and how many got saved.. saved.. that means.. they will live with the Father forever. What the sweet sweet Holy Spirit through him did does.. bringing people to the Father....
Again I don't care for the guy... at 1st I saw what you did.. and I posted allot about love..about seeing good as in what the Father is doing. I had a dream..from God..all love about how I was treating him. I found his site emailed him and said sorry.
See that man like you belongs to a GOD..and even though I say JESUS IS LORD and we are family.. I have NO RIGHT to attack make fun of bash talk behind his yours any believers back. See.. its not how I would want to be treated..

I treated him like I would want to be treated.. and talked to him.. just me and him.. he changed the way he worded the videos...still does to this day. We've all seen these about a hundred times and lived through so many "end of the world" predictions. They used to scare me when I wasn't a believer (because I knew my heart wasn't right with God) but now I take them with a grain of salt.
As it was already pointed out, no one is going to know the time. Not even the Son (Jesus himself!) will know the time that the end will come. Only God. (Matthew 24:36) There will be no way of really truly knowing. It will happen suddenly and unexpectedly and we better still have our lamps burning when it does.

Anyone that even therorizes as a possibility that "the world will end" at any time in the near future, only proves that he has no concept of what the prophecies in the Bible actually say.

I'm reasonably certain the world isn't going to end on the 22nd. At least I hope not, the local ale house is doing renovations/improvements for the past week and is going to reopen on the 23rd. It'd be a bummer if the world ended the day before, they have great chicken wings.

I am not sure why Christians keep posting dates for the end of the world.More surprising is following people who keep setting dates and signs and nothing comes to pass. It may be time to listen to Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
