I wonder how he would react if a real Christian, instead of berating him, offered him a free lunch at the most expensive restaurant in town, then went home with him, mowed his lawns, weeded his garden, and filled a trailer with his trash and took it to the dump for him, free of charge; and without saying a word about Christianity?
I don't know about him about I would propably decline the free lunch and tell him not to follow me around, and the moment he got out his lawn mower I would call police.

I don't know...if someone came around to my place and offered to trim my shrubs and remove some of the garden and other rubbish around the place at his expense, and offered me a slap up lunch at a restaurant, I would jump at it! But then I'm an old guy who wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth! :)

But the point I'm making is that deeds of helpfulness and kindness are much better than quoting the Bible at a person.

But if the person you have in mind has religiously "stalked" you in the past, I can understand your reluctance. I might be too, and would be mentally prepared for the inevitable religious "sales pitch".

But relationships between people takes time, and developing a friendship and confidence in a person doesn't happen in five minutes or in one meeting. I have a non-Christian friend who I have been friends with since 2001, and he knows that I am a church-going person, but I have never "witnessed" to him, because up until now, he has never seriously asked me about it, and I am content to enjoy his company, and assist him with his computer when he needs it, and to share a diet coke with him and his mates at the local gentlemen's club.
