Was Albert Einstein kidnapped and sexually assaulted when he was a young child? Was he 21 years old when he died? Does he have the same tragic history as Matoaka (Pocahontas) had?

It's time to learn the true history of Pocahontas and not the fables surrounding her life.

The True Story of Pocahontas: Historical Myths Versus Sad Reality
Once again, Trump is not insulting Pocahontas any more than when someone is sarcastically calling someone an "Einstein". I think the media is creating a straw man to justify being overly sensitive.

Why are you linking to a story that says the exact same thing I as I posted? This is twice tonight that you've done that.

From your linked article:
>> DNA test shows Native ancestry ranges from 0.09 to 1.5 percent; European Americans average 0.18 percent. <<

From my linked article:
>> The average European American has about .18% Native American. Sen. Warren has between 1.6% and .1% so she could have slightly less or she could have 9 times as much Native DNA as other European Americans. <<

Okay please show me the error of my ways as show me specifically where Trump directly insulted native Americans. Unless you consider it insulting to be compared to Elizabeth Warren, then I will concede. I wouldn't want to be compared to her.
Trump’s Use of Wounded Knee to Mock Elizabeth Warren Angers Native Americans

“+300 of my people were massacred at Wounded Knee,” the writer and tribal lawyer Ruth H. Hopkins, who is Sioux, said on Twitter. “Most were women and children. This isn’t funny, it’s cold, callous, and just plain racist.”

Storm Reyes, 69, who is Coast Salish and lives on a reservation in Washington State, said. "As a Native, Trump’s tweet was equivalent to making a ‘joke’ about 9/11, Pearl Harbor or the Holocaust,” she said. “I found it awful that not only did Trump use this tragedy as a joke, weapon and insult, but that his ignorance of American history is so great that he didn’t even know that Wounded Knee was a massacre and not a battle.”

Jefferson Keel, the president of the National Congress of American Indians, condemned, “in the strongest possible terms, the casual and callous use of these events as part of a political attack.”

“Hundreds of Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho people lost their lives at the hands of the invading U.S. Army during these events,’’ he said, “and their memories should not be desecrated as a rhetorical punch line.”

And according to my DNA test I am over 10% Native American and 8% African American. Yes, My great grandfather was black Puerto Rican and I am 10X more Native American than Elizabeth Warren. How would you feel if I started pandering to minorities by telling them my ancestors were slaves on sugar cane plantations? I imagine the African American community would be outraged. So why is Elizabeth Warren the exception? Because the media told you to be outraged about their strawman argument and not about what President Trump actually said.

Correct....assuming he isn’t indicted or impeached beforehand. His current term runs through 2020. The new president will take office in 2021.

Your point...?

No, even if all of that happens he will still remain in office.

I think he is incorrigible, and the last 40 years of dual monarchy in the States has been a farce. I am just stating a matter of fact.

What are your thoughts about the President actually giving you and opportunity to voice your concerns. What if as a result of the survey he changes his decision? Wouldn't that be a good thing? What are your thoughts about someone falsely claiming to be Native American in order to encourage the minority vote?

That would be awesome as a result of the feedback they receive on their website they made changes to their policy. I would however have to wonder why they would alter their police based on a poll and not the will of the American voters.

He could use the election as a poll and allow the people who were voted into office to create and pass measures concerning public policy. He could allow a vote to take place and veto the measure. He will not do that however because he is aware that a supermajority exists because of those who have split with their own party over this issue. Using that tactic is what prompted my rantandit was a doozy though coming here has taught me not to call names or tell someone directly that they are lying (maybe I touched on the second part).

About that woman I guess it was, I have no clue what her ethnic background is but politicians all over the world since the beginning of time have lied about who they are to get votes. Having said tht, it still is wrong to tell lies period in all cases except where safety is involved like you move people out of a building quietly and deny thereis a bomb so people don't panic and trample each other.

Also having said that I believe the historic conflicts The President made light of or used in a snarky way was disrespectful to the memories of the atrocities committed by our country the the indigenous people here. I have no doubt that a Trump-owned real estate company would have spend a fortune sending scalp hunters after the land of the West.Just a strong feeling I have but I can't say it's a factual statement about his character

I just wanted to come back to this to clarify. The issue that I have with this thread is that it serves absolutely no purpose than to simply bash insult and mock the President of the United States.

Oh please! We just spent 8 years watching the Right collective lose it's mind over the secret muslim communist HUSSEIN Obama and he didn't do 1/1000th of the stuff Trump has done in terms of deserving to be mocked! Give me a break.

Honestly, I don't understand why there's any defense whatsoever for this man. It now appears that pretty much everyone in his inner circle had secret meetings with a hostile foreign dictator and then hid that information. Trump was complicit in the cover up of at least one of those (the meeting with Don Jr) and now we hear he went to extraordinary lengths to hide all information from his own private meetings with Putin! On top of that he is relentless racist against Native Americans and people of color. He finds "good people" in the Neo-Nazi crowds who descended on Charlottesville (one of whom KILLED A WOMAN).

Give me a break! If Trump doesn't deserve criticism then ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ON EARTH DOES. He's the most powerful man on the planet and he's got some SERIOUS issues we all have to be wary of.

Especially by an Australian. It is comparable to that of a bunch of teenage girls standing in the corner to quietly mock another girls dress behind their back.

Or like a Conservative mocking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's dress behind her back (and taking creeper stalker pictures of her from behind?)

What disturbs me is that he is on record as "proud to own" this hutdown as if oblivious to the pain it is causing federal employees, the economy and our country in general.

Oh he almost immediately ran away from that. He really acts more like a toddler than an adult man. He seems to forget what he said just 5 minutes ago and he has no concept that people are RECORDING IT!

Within a day he was trying to blame the Dems.

Now, granted, he has ZERO concept of how real people live...apparently he assumes everyone has a multimillionaire daddy who will bail them out (sometimes even breaking gaming laws to do so!)

Trump can't be held accountable for what he says anymore than we would hold a 3 year old accountable for what they say.

only difference is this toddler can destroy the economy or the world with one tantrum.

Woo hoo! Good times.

The cruelty - to government workers, to minorities - is the point.

This is where I disagree with you. It was not "racially motivated" any more than when someone sarcastically calls someone "Einstein" for doing something stupid.
I didn't realize that "Einstein" was a race.

Certainly.

Elizabeth Warren has never referred to the massacres in question. If you can find such a reference, please present it...

I believe that the intention of the Senator's disclosure of a story she had been told about a person in her family's history was an attempt to make a connection to the indigenous people of her constituency. By doing this, she seems to want to differentiate herself from the "typical" upper class white elite colleagues As if to say "hey, I'm not just another rich white lady. You can trust me." I think that intention is not dishonorable, to want to send a message that you appreciate and respect a people. She overstepped by implying "I also am one of you so you can trust me."

She could show her support better by simplifying it and being more genuine by saying "I heard stories when I was young that I have an Indigenous ancestor so Ihave always respected and felt close to the indigenous people of my state/" Then, instead of dressing in a costume, she should have invited the leadership or at least members of the tribal leadership or tribe members inher state, declared her support for their rights, and made a vow to them in public that she will always advocate for their rights.and their dignity in Washington D.C.

That would have been more productive and courageous.. What she did was pander and it looked morelike exploiting a percent that she found onanAncestory.comaccount or something and something should have been said publicly but not by Trump. The indigenous peoples are the ones who have a reason to question her motives and tactics.
