My thoughts as i read this scripture are that one day we will have no more pain nor sorrow. Am i wrong? Reading the rest of the chapter it sounds like i might be wrong. What are your thoughts?

Isaiah 11:6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
6 And the wolf will dwell with the lamb,
And the leopard will lie down with the young goat,
And the calf and the young lion [a]and the fatling together;
And a little boy will lead them.

One day, after this life is done, in the next life....
no pain, no sorrow, no sad memories, no sin ....

In this life, currently on earth:
1 Peter 4 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
4 Therefore, since the Messiah suffered physically, you too are to arm yourselves with the same attitude. For whoever has suffered physically is finished with sin, 2 with the result that he lives the rest of his earthly life no longer controlled by human desires, but by God’s will.

It takes place after the 1,000 years, in the New Heaven and New Earth.

Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Isa 33:21 But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

Isa 33:24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Consider the beginning when looking to the end. Were we not originally put here from the Garden after our rebellion in order to reap what we sow towards others, both good and bad. Has this not always been a way to open our minds to the uselessness of man's will over the will of God? Once we repent of the will of man in favour of the will of God, would there be any need of the will of man to cause pain and strife in the Kingdom? Have they not had their reward and will be left behind?

Thank you both for the replies.
