Here is the verse from Revelation 16 I would like to discuss.........
Revelation 16:11
11 And they blaspheme the God of the heaven out of the miseries of them, and out of the sores of them, and not they reform out of the works of them
21 and hail, great as talent weight is descending out of the heaven up the men and the men blaspheme the God out of the stripe/blow of the hail, that great is the stripe/blow of her, tremendous. [Isaiah 28:17,18]
Isaiah 28 mentions hail concerning the Jews "covenant of death
NIV:
Isaiah 28
16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.
17 I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line;
hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place.
18 Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand.
When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it.
19 As often as it comes it will carry you away; morning after morning, by day and by night,it will sweep through.”
Romans 2:23
Who in law are boasting through the transgression of the Law, the God thou are dishonoring
24 'For the name of the God is being blasphemed in the nations because of ye' according as it has been written.'
[Psalm 74:10]
A few verses concerning stoning:
John 10:33
Answered Him, the Judeans saying,
"About a good work not we are stoning Thee, but about blasphemy,
and that Thou, being a man, are making thyself a god".
Acts 7:
59 and they were stoning Stephen, calling and saying, ‘Lord Jesus, receive my spirit;’
60 and having bowed the knees, he cried with a loud voice, ‘Lord, mayest thou not lay to them this sin;’ and this having said, he fell asleep..
