The ten commandments aren't eternal.
2Co 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
2Co 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
2Co 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
2Co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
2Co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
2Co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
2Co 3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
2Co 3:10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
2Co 3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
The original ten commandments were done away. The moral ones are brought into the new law of Christ but ceremonial ones like Saturday Sabbaths were not which is why most Christians don't and didn't keep Saturdays and why the new covenant also does not command it. It was part of the old covenant only, and only for Jews.
Hello brother your in error here. Let's see why?
If you do not know what the OLD COVENANT was how can you understand what the NEW COVENANT is that the OLD COVENANT points to? You mix up the SHADOW laws from the MOSAIC BOOK of the COVENANT with God's eternal law that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS *
ROMANS 3:20;
ROMANS 7:7;
1 JOHN 3:4;
PSALMS 119:172.
If your trying to argue that
2 CORINTHIANS 3 is talking about God's 10 Commandments being abolished then you really need to re-read the whole chapter brother because it is saying no such thing.
2 CORINTHIANS 3 is discussing the two glories of the covenants which are the 10 Commandments written on stone and the promise of the Spirit to write them in the heart through faith that works by LOVE.
One written on stone; Gives us the
KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS *
ROMANS 3:20;
ROMANS 7:7;
1 JOHN 3:4;
PSALMS 119:172. We all must have a knowledge of what sin is before we can be forgiven and free to walk in God's Spirit *ACTS 2:38;
1 JOHN 1:9;
PROVERBS 28:13. The promise of God's Spirit in the NEW COVENANT changes the minsistration of death (wages of sin
ROMANS 6:23) to the ministration of the Spirit removing God's commandments written on stone by writing them on the fleshly tables of the heart through faith that works by LOVE *
HEBREWS 8:7-12 because LOVE is the establishing and fulfilling of Gods LAW in all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's Word *
ROMANS 13:8-10.
2 CORINTHIANS 3 is showing the process of conversion in the NEW COVENANT with God's LAW written on stone giving us the knowledge of SIN and leading us cross of Christ and to the NEW COVENANT promise to be born again, to have God's law written in the heart through faith that works by love freeing us to walk in the Spirit
GALATIANS 3:22-25;
GALATIANS 5:16;
ROMANS 8:1-4.
Let's look at the scriptures and show
all the context shall we?
2 CORINTHIANS 3:1-10
[1], Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
[2], You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
[3], Since you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us,
written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart.
[4], And such trust have we through Christ toward God:
[5], Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
[6], Who also has made us able ministers of the
new covenant;
not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.
[7], But if the ministry of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
[8], How shall not the ministry of the Spirit be more glorious?
[9], For if the ministry of condemnation be glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness exceed in glory.
[10], For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excels.
Now take a look at v3 highlighted in RED which is the CONTEXT or what follows. Now take a look at the NEW COVENANT promise from
Jeremiah 31:31-34 and repeated by the same same author as Corinthians in
Hebrews 8:10-12 and 10:16-17
Hebrews 8:10-12
[10],
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
[11], And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
[12], For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
2 Corinthians 3 is talking about the NEW COVENANT of God's LAW written on the heart through faith that works by LOVE by His Spirit. Moving from the tables of stone to the fleshly tables of the heart (2 Corinthiand 3:3;
Hebrews 8:10)
Let's look at the scriptures laid out together side by side...
2 CORINTHIANS 3:3, [3], Since you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God;
not in tables of stone, but in
fleshly tables of the heart.

continuing in

[27], And
I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and
you shall keep my judgments, and do them.
God's Spirit of love...
ROAMNS 13:8-10 [8], Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for
he that loves another has fulfilled the law. [9], For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. [10], Love works no ill to his neighbor:
THEREFORE LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW.
.................
CONCLUSION:
2 Corinthians 3 is talking about the NEW COVENANT of LOVE written on the heart to walk in God's LAW, through LOVE. It is NOT talking about ABOLISHING God's LAW it is talking about FULFILLING God's LAW in those who BELIEVE God's WORD. This is RIGHTEOUSNESS (Salvation) by FAITH for a SINNER that BELIEVES the WORD'S of the SAVIOUR (JESUS). What is being ABOLISHED is the condemnation and the penalty of sin [DEATH] through FAITH in Christ by walking in the Spirit under the NEW COVENANT.
................
SIN is still the same as it has always been which is the breaking of God's Commandments (
James 2:9-11;
Romans 7:7;
1 John 3:4) Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.
................
God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (
Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (
James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (
Hebrews 10:26-27)
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (
Matthew 15:3-9)
There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?
Sorry brother God's WORD disagrees with you. If you do away with God's 10 Commandments, then you have no knowledge of what sin is. If you have no knowledge of what sin is, you have no need of a Saviour. If you have no Saviour, you have no salvation because you are still in your sins and have not been born again to walk in God's Spirit by faith that works by love.
Hope this helps
