Does God wake us up to pray

I think so. I wake mostly every night between 3 and 5 am.

There are some who seem to be called by God as intercessiors who experience that.

On a Friday morning, about 6.50 am August 17, 1984 I was on my way to work in Lansing MI. About a half block from work I got T-boned and almost killed.

The hospital called my wife and my mom. My mom lived 3 hours away in the southwest corner of the state. As she and my step dad were about to leave the house a friend of theirs, my mom’s former boss, called from Ohio. He and his wife both have that intercession calling. They asked mom what was going on, that God had awakened them at 3 am to pray for mom’s family. They waited to call until they thought someone might be up to answer the phone.

So God knew and had people praying for me. And I survived the accident which I really should not have. I was out of the hospital in 8 days and back to work in 6 weeks.

I believe so. God wakes me up every night at 3pm or 5pm sometimes with a burden on my heart to intercede for someone.
Sometimes I don't set an alarm and ask Holyspirit to wake me up at a certain hour outside of my routine and He always does.

God places people on my heart all the time. Last week a former co-worker was placed strongly on my heart to pray for. I have not seen or heard from him in many years.

I don't see anything negative about the night where God would need to wake us to pray for these hours specifically. He made the moon as well as the sun, and I find the night beautiful. There are plenty of animals created to be the most active at night and find more relief during these areas than the sunny ones.

Perhaps God just finds that you are more active mentally and with prayer during this time period? I am more active at night in general.
