No it's not. The bible does it for us.

It's difficult for you to masquerade your work for the work of God.

As most false teachers do. Kinda like you reject the translators old and VERY APPROPRIATE use of the word 'believe'..........And attack His simple Gospel with works for.

You workers for are always working for new ways to attack His Grace.

And it's funny to watch you. You think you are this new, never before, Holy Spirit inspired prophet that is showing that no one has ever been saved before because they didn't know what 'believes' means.

Strong's : " pisteuo means NOT just to believe."

Vines ,: pisteuo is " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender".

Greek language has no word for our English word believe.

Only pisteuo, faithing towards God, or apisteuo, faithing away from God.

Pisteuo is a continual daily surrendering of our lives to Him. Everything else, including " believing " is apisteuo.

False. See here.

False. See link inside here.

False. See here again, especially the quote from Thayer's.

Lol, if your going to claim the Strongs and Vines I'm quoting are false, at least provide the correct texts. When you say the Vines is false, don't quote the Strongs, lol.

I'll keep your secret, I know why you can't quote the Vines for pisteuo. Wink, wink! I

Tech is difficult, but keep working at it you'll get it.

As far as I know Christians still die and all mature adults sin so they experience spiritual death. In the scripture referring to the wages of sin is death, the second death is not in the context. So how is Christ "abolishing death?

Christ does provide the way for us to be transformed from the death of sin to life eternal. God's forgiveness sets us free.

2 Timothy 1:9-10

who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel

The link I gave included a link to Vine's. Look for the words "Vine's Expository Dictionary: View Entry" on that page.

Did you even look at the page?

ANYONE, can copy and search for your quotes..........First one who gives the link or page to those 'quotes' from a scholarly reference and that is their total definition. I will not post on this thread again.

I will give you this, you workers for..........Are very persistent. Commendable, but it won't get you saved.

Believe on His surrendered life for YOU. Not your pitiful surrendered life for Him.

You really are pathetic. My second Grader can see the link to vines.

And I have seen this tactic before haven't I?

How blind are we if we think we are in the light? Even logic slips away.

I’m not prepared to continue on this thread. It’s a waste of my time. Someone who wants to try and change the Bible’s meaning to suit themselves and misquote from sources to try and prove their point is not someone I wish to follow. I’ll follow my Bible, thank you.

I’d also take this chance to point out sarcastic comments like ‘tech is hard...’ to @Radagast are flagrantly disregarding the rules of this forum of flaming and goading. And I’d like to congratulate Radagast on not responding in kind.

At the end of the day, you can have your opinion. You’re not going to convince me of your academic prowess as just stating you are a learned individual doesn’t constitute proof. And without some kind of background that suggests you even remotely have a clue what you’re talking about I’m going to keep going with the opinion of hundreds of experts over hundreds of years.

You've just shown your true colors.

My true colours? That I’ll believe my Bible not a stranger? I’ve never hidden that. Why would I? I’m quite happy for the world to know it.

You just appear to not like that people don’t agree with you and instead of going ‘that’s your right’ you insult them. I can agree to disagree with you. I cannot listen to anymore insults at myself and others.

You think I don't know you found the Vines definition of pisteuo I've been testifying to?

Yet you know that guy and others have been calling me a liar for months.

Why wouldn't you testify to the truth if you could?

You've fallen into the same ditch the others have. First you trample the concrete facts I present, then you turn and attempt to trample me. Yet, I will! still help you !

I have yet to find ANY of your quotations. Not a one! Be very careful when calling people liars, because the only person who I can’t find ANY corroboration for what they say is yourself.

I haven’t attempted to trample you at all. I’ve said I have no idea of your credentials and you have no-one else backing up your opinion. I’m not trampling on your “facts” or you, just not swallowing something some stranger says on “his word” alone.
