Prayer warriors you are needed!!

I have daughters, all teenagers right now.... and these days are stressful for young teenage girls, pressures at school, pressures from the media, everything is about how we look and it can be rough to find your place in all this. Its hard as an adult to not fit in with the world because I hold different values then the world does, but imagine as a teenager when everything is about finding acceptance and just wanting to feel apart of.... but this isn't what I need prayers for, the reason I'm begging for prayers right now is because I am so heart broken, heart broken and so scared. I had no idea about the real dangers that are lurking out there for my daughters, your daughters, our young ladies all over the world are facing a battle right now and some of them are already caught up in it. I'm talking about human trafficking. Just 3 hours away from me there was a young lady being held captive for 3 years! they took her when she was only 14. She has escaped, and is finally free but she wasn't the only girl these people had taken. How can this stuff happen? I decided to do some research and found out that human trafficking isn't just happening here in Canada, its world wide! And its the fastest growing crime right now. Its estimated that 40.3 million people are victims of human trafficking globally, and are you ready.... 75% of that 40 plus million are women and girls!! Please join me in prayer, and spread the word, informing others could lead to keeping someone safe from this.

P.S. I found a movie on pureflix.com called caged no more, it seems this movement has been going for a while and I'm a little slow to catch up,but if you haven't seen it, its a good way to help your teens learn and understand the dangers, it is rated for 12+ though I believe.

I with you in prayer for our young people especially those vulnerable to human traffickers. Across the street from our church is a strip mall with some doctors and a massage parlor. An elder at our church three years ago was confronted by an Asian woman working there. She said she was brought legally into the country as a sex slave. He worked with local authorities, they put surveillance on the parlor and three years later just two months ago they were raided and rescued many young women from illicit sexual activity.

The massage parlor reopened two weeks ago and we hold prayer in the public parking lot next to it. Can’t say if they are back to what they are doing or not but we will keep being the good neighbors in our neighborhood.

LORD keep our women, children, teens safe, even our young boys? May they be informed ahead of time so the danger of human trafficking can be prevented, In Jesus Name, Amen

Father, this is such a LARGE problem. The devil and his minions must be putting a lot of work into this. They are an evil "army" of many soldiers. Lord, they are no match for You and Your army. I pray, because You ask us to, that You will equip and train Your soldiers (angelic and human) well for this warfare. I pray You encourage them with signs of victories in this fight. Show them those that are being delivered, and motivate them further through them to continue working to deliver others through what You provide. I pray that work will be done to convert some of the human adversaries to the side of righteousness, and that they will become greater soldiers in delivering these p.o.w.s from the enemy. Shine a greater light of knowledge upon this warfare, bringing it to even greater and greater attention to the "good" people of this world, in such a way that many of them will become active in recognizing the needs of these people around them, and doing something effectively about it. Lord, remember this prayer, and may You answer it often on behalf of those that are suffering in this area, to the furtherance of Your glory and kingdom. Amen.

Hey, how about if you and I swap prayers? I have three daughters of my own, and I have the same concerns! I pray that God will protect your girls and give you wisdom about how to protect them.

I agree that human trafficking needs to be fought. There are many ministries ministering to victims, like A21.org. Let's all support one!

Thank you for highlighting this issue and interceding on behalf of trafficking victims. There are some Christian organizations that work on this very issue praise God. The thing is that trafficking can happen out in public in front of our very eyes and we may not even be aware. I pray the Lord bring a swift end to all human trafficking and that the spirit of freedom bring an end to slavery everywhere.
