Listen to read watched allot preachers teachers WOF.. I just do not agree with everything they teach. Many years ago went to a Church of God church. There are DIFFERENT ones.. it was NOT that one :) some will know and understand. You can still hear from God.. learn..

But.. one day a bunch of us were all at Church holding hands and praying.. when I saw this square BEAUTIFUL light dark green long grass...just flowing in the wind. Then these HUGE stones started popping up ever where. I just knew.. not sure how I just knew it was that Church.

There is ONE body... blood of JESUS MANY MANY tents.. but ONE head.. Christ. One body.. He sees one body

I love our Church and the kind loving people there.
It is a nondenominational Church, I have been there over 8 years now.
I do not expect them to follow the same movement I do.
I agree with Word of Faith teaching, our Pastors are full Gospel Bible believing Men of God that is what it all comes down to.
Give God the praise and glory he deserves, follow Christ daily not just Sunday and know we are redeemed by the Blood and nothing else.
It's all about Jesus and knowing the love of God passes our understanding.
One thing you do not see very much among Word of Faith believers as a whole,is attacks on doctrine among us.
We leave that up to the many critics of the other denomations.
We do not go after each other, but will do our best to explain how we believe when there are workers of discord among us.
We welcome you here and are glad to work together to build the body of Christ .
God Bless

Word of Faith is not a denomation, it is a movement with its roots in Charismatic Full Gospel beliefs.
Faith is the core of our life in Christ.
Without it God is not pleased, so go ahead and call me hyper Faith because it pleases My Father in Heaven that I am.

Rocky, I remember you were influnced by R. W. Shambach , He was a friend of Jessie Duplantis back in the day.
I am going to pull up some of His teaching and listen.
I enjoy many different Preachers ,often another perspective brings a jewel that was over looked.

Sanctification is being set free from thinking "my tithing earns God's love and pleasure" to thinking "The works of love which Jesus did on the cross earned God's love and pleasure for us".

The latter is indeed faith.

what don't you believe about the word of faith? Isn't that the name of this forum??? I can't believe the "arguing" here. If you don't believe, you need to leave! I came here looking for other people to fellowship with.

What you are doing is wonderful, sharing the Word where you have 1,539,362
People hearing sermons that are gospel truth.
You will never know until Heaven how many lives were touched and brought to the alter.
It is certainly a skill and a calling to do.
By sharing the Gospel through posting sermons, you set a good example for others to follow.
It is inspired by God to keep these sermons in the ears of his flock

Here is one that I taped on my 8-track stereo way back in 1980 listening to the radio...

Here is one that I taped on my 8-track stereo way back in 1980 listening to the radio...

To reminisce... During 1982-83, Our community was building a new Water Pollution Control Facility (WasteWater Treatment Plant), and during the noon hour while the entire construction crew would be on their lunch break... I would turn Schambach on a gospel radio station broadcasting from Bowling Green, Ohio (owned by Jimmy Swaggart Ministries). I would set up the speaker system to play "indoor and outdoor" through all the buildings and grounds that even including some homes also in the construction area.

For those of you who were privileged to hear his message over the years... Can you imagine with his "powerful" voice broadcasting over the area? Saying, "You don't have any trouble... all you need is faith in God." It is reported that he used that very quote during his sermons for over six decades.

Thanks for the memories rockytopva....

I have enjoyed these sermons ,since Rocky came back here to post.
We need desperately Men of God like this today.
I would love to see a big tent set up, and a community revival preached by a fired up Holy Ghost preacher like Schambach Preached.
It takes me back to the days when even some Baptist were on fire.
The verses just keep rolling during the sermon, they hit homeruns.
When I am getting ready for work I turn Shambach on my Bose speaker.
He just preaches me happy to start my day, my bath window is open sometimes and the neighbors get some too.
God Bless.

Thanks. I had uploaded Joel Osteen and Joseph Prince videos until both filed copyright infringement against me and were very ugly towards me. I almost took the website down and I had a vision on my bed of a man telling me, "Upload more Schambach!" I was faithful to that vision, put a lot of work in the site, and am pleased with the results.

1 Corinthians 3:5-7 New International Version (NIV)
5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

What's the meaning of the above verses?

Actually, quite simply put. Paul was saying that God is the one who used Apollo's and himself to touch these Corinthians’ lives, and God should get the glory–not them. Just as a gardener does not deserve the credit for making flowers, Paul and Apollos did not deserve the credit for the miracles God did in the Corinthians’ lives. They (the people) were doing just that if you back up to verse 1-4....

1And I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual, but as fleshly, as infants in Christ. 2I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you weren't yet ready. And even NOW you are still not ready, 3for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and living by human standards? 4For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not merely human?

So why boast about preachers rather than about Christ?

As usual, another one liner question that doesn't make any sense. Where do you see anyone of us boasting about preachers?

Aren't questions indeed one liners?

So you mean to say we can write more about preachers without any one liners attributing all to His sovereign will?

Are you interested to answer without digressing by referring to raising questions as teaching?

Were all the above testimonies referring to God's free choice to show mercy?

Isn't God free to show mercy or to harden (Romans 9:18:Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth)?
