It looks to me like we have people who say they are very sure of what they say about the end times. And they have scripture for what they say, plus things they get from the news and history. And they possibly have prayed for God to show them.
But . . . yet . . . possibly, people have prayed and checked what the Bible says, but still they do not agree with one another.
Our character can effect what we are able to believe, and our real nature has a lot to do with if we are honest enough to make sure with God, about things. So, we need how You, O God our Father, truly correct our character so we get what You tell us, through Your word and how You make us clear about what You desire to share with us.
Also, in order to get the end times history right, what comes first? Do we first need to study and read and listen, all while praying?
Or, does our attention first need to be to what Jesus says to do so we are "ready"? >
"'Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.'" (Luke 12:20)
Or . . . may be there is another possibility > like, do both at the same time l o l o l o l o l
In this thread anyone is welcome to share how you make sure.
And I would appreciate giving our attention to what Jesus means by being "ready", and how do we go about this?
Does being ready mean we know He is coming and we are waiting and believe the correct end-time beliefs?
I personally now understand how our attention mainly needs to be to how we need to become in our . . . nature. We need however our Father corrects us and changes us to be like Jesus, so we are pleasing to God the way He will want us to be for all eternity and this will also make us compatible with our Groom Jesus and with one another.
"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)
This is included. What else would you share about how we need to be "ready" for Jesus, and for all which He knows will happen?
God bless you, thank you
