Further evidence that we are moving towards the abomination of desolation.

the Sanhedrin last week dedicated the temple alter with a sacrifice in anticipation of the soon return of the temple. They invited 70 nations to come.
Sanhedrin ceremonially dedicates altar with a burnt offering!

Hosea has many prophecies still to be fulfilled. One links the return of the sacrifice after many days without it with the return of the kingdom and the return of David. Hosea 3
Then the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover[fn] and is committing adultery, just like the love of the LORD for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.”
2 So I bought her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver, and one and one-half homers of barley. 3 And I said to her, “You shall stay with me many days; you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man—so, too, will I be toward you.”
4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. 5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.

Again this prophecy as a latter day prophecy makes no sense if you say the church is Israel.

What totally conflicts with New Testament teaching, is that Israel; meaning the Jewish people, still have an inside track with God's favour.
Unfortunately this idea, which is the mainstay of the 'rapture to heaven' believers, is completely wrong as God has no favorites. Romans 2:11
There is only one people of God, His faithful born again Christians, Jew and Gentile. Ethnicity has no value for Salvation. Ephesians 2:11-18

As the spiritual children of Abraham, by our faith, WE are Israelites, the Overcomers for God and all the promises of God to His people are embodied in Christ, so we Christians are to inheritors. Ephesians 3:6, Romans 8:16-18, Galatians 3:26-29, +

It's simple Brian; David will be OUR King! In fact this prophecy actually means that Davids descendant; Jesus, will be the King over all the earth for the Millennium.

Listen: It is the thunder of vast forces. Isaiah 17:12

Isaiah 18:3 All the inhabitants of the world will see the signs and hear the sounds of the Lord’s rebuke. Isaiah 17:12-14

Isaiah 29:5b-6 Suddenly, in an instant, punishment will come from the Lord with a thunder of great noise, earthquakes and storm tempests of devouring fire.

Isaiah 66:6 That roar from the city, the uproar in the holy Land, it is the sound of the Lord dealing retribution to His enemies.

Jeremiah 4:23-29 At the sound of approaching disaster every town is in flight. People crawl into thickets and scramble up among the cliffs to hide. The earth is in chaos, the sky blackened, the hills are shaking and reeling and everybody disappears, even the birds and animals have gone. The whole Land is desolate, for the purpose of the Lord has been made known and He will not relent or change it.

Jeremiah 25:30-31 The Lord roars from on high, He thunders from His dwelling place, He roars loudly against His Land, against all the inhabitants of the Land. The great noise reaches to the ends of the earth, as the Lord brings His judgement against all the nations and the godless peoples will die. Isa. 33:10-12

Jeremiah 50:22 & 25 & 46 The sound of great destruction thunders in the Land. The Lord has opened His armoury and brought out the weapon of His wrath, it is His work to do against the Babylonish nations. The earth quakes and the noise is heard throughout the world.
Ancient Babylon was destroyed by Cyrus, he was the Lord’s instrument then, but this prophecy OF Judgement by the Lord Himself, refers to those nations that have now adopted beliefs and practices as a type of Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:55 The advancing wave booms and roars like mighty waters, for the Lord is despoiling Babylon. [the ungodly nations] Isaiah 14:22-27, Revelation 18

2 Peter 3:7 & 10 The Day of the Lord will come unexpectedly. On that Day, the sky will disappear with a great rushing sound and flames will envelope the earth, all in it will be brought to judgement.

‘People crawl into thickets and caves to hide’, The parallel prophecy is the Sixth Seal; Revelation 6:15 and Isaiah 2:21

‘the sky will disappear with a great sound’, Also paralleled by the Sixth Seal; Revelation 6:14, Isaiah 34:4, 2 Peter 3:10

‘Sudden punishment from the Lord – thunder, earthquakes, storms of fire’, This can only be fulfilled by a Coronal Mass Ejection, ‘the weapon of His wrath’, a sunstrike that suddenly hits the earth and it will literally cause all those graphically prophesied effects. Isaiah 30:25-28, Malachi 4:1 & 3

Deuteronomy 32:34-43 & 22 The Lord has a punishment in His storehouse, awaiting the Day of vengeance, the Day My enemies make a mistake will be their doom. For fire is set ablaze by My anger, it envelopes the earth and penetrates deep underground.
That mistake will be an attack on Israel, as Psalms 83 describes.

The Shofar Blast Zephaniah 1:16, Joel 2:1

Ezekiel 7:1-9 This is what the Lord says about the Land of Israel: Disaster is coming to all the earth and now the end is upon you as well. I will send My wrath to judge everyone according to their ways and deeds. Doom is coming to all who live in the holy Land. I will have no pity, nor spare you for I shall bring you to account for your disgusting conduct and abominable practices.

The time has come, the Day is near - a Day of panic and not rejoicing. Very soon, I will pour out My fury and spend My anger. All will face judgement. Everyone who refuses to acknowledge Me and those whose sinful practices are an abomination, will suffer the consequences.

Ezekiel 7:10-19 Here is the Day! Doom is approaching! Violence has bloomed and grown into the full flower of wickedness. It bursts upon them and nothing is left of those godless people, all they worked for will be gone. The appointed time has come. The Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath has arrived, it will affect everyone because of the many sins of the people who kept on with their godless ways. The trumpet of war sounds, but no one goes to war, for the wrath of God will fall upon them all.

The great sword of punishment appears: all will be terrified, hands will hang limp and knees will be wet with urine. Idols and money cannot save anyone on the terrible Day of the Lord’s fiery anger. Treat your gold and silver like something unclean and throw it away with your detestable idols, be ashamed of yourself and repent in sackcloth and ashes.

Those in open country will die and in the cities plague and famine will kill them. If any manage to escape to shelter, there the Lord will kill them, each for his own iniquity.

A Coronal Mass Ejection of unprecedented magnitude will be blasted out from the sun, Isaiah 30:26, 2 Peter 3:10, first the bright flash, then the sun will be darkened and the moon will glow red, Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20, then everyone will be aware of its imminent arrival. All will know that within hours, their doom will arrive and will be so terrified they will wet their pants. Isaiah 13:6-8, Ezekiel 21:7, Luke 21:26

Violence will blossom into full flower: the enemies of Israel commence their attack with rockets and nuclear missiles. Psalms 83:1-8, Psalms 7:12-16, Micah 4:11 But there will be no war, for the wrath of the Lord will fall upon both attackers and defenders. Doom will come upon all who live in the holy Land. Jeremiah 3:10 The holy Land: all that area given to Abraham – from the Nile to the Euphrates. Genesis 15:18

The holy Land will be virtually depopulated, even those who manage to find shelter from the extreme heat of this CME, will be killed by the storms, earthquakes and tsunamis of that Day. Ezekiel 30:1-5, Amos 9:1-4, Rev. 6:12-17
A Jewish remnant will survive in Jerusalem. Isaiah 31:5, Zephaniah 1:18, Zech. 13:7-9

Riches and manmade things of worship are useless. Isaiah 2:20, Revelation 3:17

Zechariah 3:9-10 In a single Day, the Lord will wipe out the offences and apostasy of the holy Land. When that time comes, says God Almighty, you are to invite one another to come and enjoy the fruits of your vines and fig trees. Revelation 18:8

The Lord’s Christian people: gathered and settled in a fruitful Land, living in peace and security, at last how He intended them to be and ‘a light to the nations’. Isaiah 62:1-5

REv 6 is global in scale and not accomplished in 70AD. Jer 16 is clearly about the days Jer prophesied in and does not appear to be a prophecy with a double fulfillment. Jesus predicted that Jerusalem would fall and the temple be destroyed and also that it would be trampled under the foot until the time of the Gentiles was over. This is obvious that there is still a prophetic distinction between Jew and Gentile. Rev also speaks of Jerusalem being trampled for 42 months. This is the middle of the 70th week of Daniel. In Zech 14 we see the day the LORD returns to be king over all the earth. We see the LORD comes with all of His saints and the Mt of Olives splits in two. It shows the enemies of the LORD being melted. It shows life continuing on earth after the 2nd coming. The nations must now keep the feast of Tabernacles or they get no rain every year in Jerusalem. It also notes that no Canaanite will will be in the house of the LORD. The edict to destroy all the Canaanites is fulfilled at this time. In Isaiah 61 the day of vengeance of the LORD is addressed to those in Zion. In this day the LORD again makes a Gentile distinction
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,
And the sons of the foreigner
Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But you shall be named the priests of the LORD,
They shall call you the servants of our God.
You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,
And in their glory you shall boast.
7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor,
And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.
Therefore in their land they shall possess double;
Everlasting joy shall be theirs.

Ezekiel 36 is a must read as it clearly talks about Israel being established forever and you cannot make this out to be the church. This chapter identifies Israel as those whom God has scattered into all the nations and have profaned God,s name in the nations in which they have been driven. God promises to gather these people back and be exalted in them. This is not the church.
