Trade victory for the President?

I think that I've already addressed these issues. However, as long as the moderators are comfortable and think these issues are relevant to Christians and their families, I shall keep updating. Again, we're not discussing politics but policies and their impact on Christian families. There have been saints here who actually appreciated and still do. I'd appreciate it if other Christians stopped berating and commenting redundantly.

The USMCA trade agreement was signed by the three Presidents at the G20 summit in Argentina today. The trade agreement faces challenges in the Democrat controlled house. Lot of working Christian families and their jobs are stake. Praying that the Lord will bless the passage of a constructive version of this agreement in Congress.

According to CNBC, US and China have declared a 90 day truce to the trade conflict. According to a White House readout the US will not raise tariffs to 25% on Chinese imports on January 1, 2019 nor levy new tariffs on an additional $260B Chinese products. In return, China will immediately start procuring US agricultural and industrial products, especially soybean, corn and pork. This is a great relief to the Christian families in the Midwest. Negotiations will continue to resolve trade disputes. Praise the Lord and congratulations to both Presidents. May the Lord continue to guide them.

Bloomberg is reporting that China has resumed buying Soybeans from the US. Midwestern farmers and their families can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Praise the Lord for resolving the situation and continued prayers for the administration. Here's the link: Bloomberg - Are you a robot?.

Bloomberg is reporting that the Chinese finance ministry will eliminate the 25% additional duty imposed on US automobiles effective January 1, 2019 for a period of three months. These were retaliatory tariffs and their removal would be a huge relief to the automakers and their workers, a lot of them devout mid-westerners. Further, China is readying purchases of US corn. Praise the Lord.
