Look at 1 Corinthians 3:10-11. Just goes to show that we are all building as we think we should, and some with more care than others.

Philippians 1:15 might help with context too.
So just because God gave it to him, makes it alright to call it 'his'

Is it your life or God's? Same idea. God gave us everything that is, yet we call some things ours because we have current possession of it. Paul doesn't claim to have created a gospel just to have a gospel that was given specifically to him.

Paul called it his gospel (Rom. 2:16, 16:25, & 2 Tim. 2:8) as well as his ministry (Rom. 11:13).
Paul called it "the gospel", "Messiah's gospel", "the gospel of Messiah", "the gospel of God", etc. He knows full well it is not of his making. "My gospel" simply refers to the gospel that he was entrusted with and preached as opposed to the gospel of false apostles and false teachers.

Looking at the interlinear translations for those passages in Greek (Romans 2:16, Romans 16:25, 2 Timothy 2:8, Romans 11:13) shows that it is the same word used, "mou", although when it is rendered into English, it is sometimes rendered as "my" and other times as "of me".

To say a thing is "my one" is to make it distinct of another's, as a thing that he possesses that another does not but it does not necessarily say that he is the creator or the owner of it, only that it is a thing that is of him and not of another.

Galatians 1:6-7 comes to mind, as it shows that he was quite keen to make such distinctions. 1 Corinthians 3:5 also comes to mind in saying that.

Did a phrase search and here's the break down

Matthew---And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom AND the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up and the poor have the Gospel preached to them. AND And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.

Mark--The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. AND Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God AND “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent ye and believe the Gospel.” AND For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the Gospel’s, the same shall save it. AND And Jesus answered and said, “Verily I say unto you, there is no man that hath left house or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for My sake and the Gospel’s,

Luke -- Then Jesus answering said unto them, “Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard: how the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the Gospel is preached.
AND And they departed and went through the towns, preaching the Gospel and healing everywhere. AND And it came to pass that on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the Gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon Him with the elders - AND
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Isaiah 61:1 The scroll Yeshua read from in Luke above.
The Spirit of the Lord G-D is upon me; because the L-RD hath anointed me to preach good tidings (Good news--the gospel) unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Luke 4:18 actually uses the Greek "Euangelisasthai" meaning to proclaim the good tidings or good news. We get our word for Evangelist from this.

Since the 'Good News' or Gospel of Salvation was prophesied from old times, in Isaiah specifically it would have been know to them, knowing of this prophecy. Even Yeshua himself as can be seen by the above quotes from the synoptic gospels shows he does not call it His Gospel but 'The Gospel'.

He..is whom the good news is about.
The good news is to us not to him .
Since it is To us..it becomes ours when receive it,believe it,act on it.
