Paul called it "the gospel", "Messiah's gospel", "the gospel of Messiah", "the gospel of God", etc. He knows full well it is not of his making. "My gospel" simply refers to the gospel that he was entrusted with and preached as opposed to the gospel of false apostles and false teachers.Paul called it his gospel (Rom. 2:16, 16:25, & 2 Tim. 2:8) as well as his ministry (Rom. 11:13).
Looking at the interlinear translations for those passages in Greek (Romans 2:16, Romans 16:25, 2 Timothy 2:8, Romans 11:13) shows that it is the same word used, "mou", although when it is rendered into English, it is sometimes rendered as "my" and other times as "of me".So just because God gave it to him, makes it alright to call it 'his'

Luke 4:18 actually uses the Greek "Euangelisasthai" meaning to proclaim the good tidings or good news. We get our word for Evangelist from this.
Since the 'Good News' or Gospel of Salvation was prophesied from old times, in Isaiah specifically it would have been know to them, knowing of this prophecy. Even Yeshua himself as can be seen by the above quotes from the synoptic gospels shows he does not call it His Gospel but 'The Gospel'.
