Reformed worship singers/bands?

Agreed - to a point. I have heard songs that are Calvinist/Reformed and other songs that are Arminianist being done by the same group.

I prefer Messianic myself.

Here is one by one of the pioneer Messianic songwriters - who just passed away a few weeks ago. My son and I backed him up at a conference in 2011.

This is sung by former bandmate Paul Wilbur:

A lot of hip hop and rap artists are Reformed/Calvinistic and there are definitely bands out there that are Reformed. Gadsby's Hymns have been redone with modern music so you can google that one.

Here's a blog entry by Tim Challies that might be helpful. Another band not mentioned in the blog entry is the ska band the O.C. Supertones. My username actually came from their song "Unite", overall not a ska music fan but praise God, I do enjoy hip hop/rap, and there are many sound Calvinistic lyricists these days. If you're into Reformed hip hop/rap and like podcasts and mixes, Wade-O-Radio has you covered.

Unfortunately there does seem to be a shortage of sound Biblical theology in other music genres. I really love the old Christian rock band Petra, and for the most part the theology is sound, but not entirely, but we really have to pay attention to the lyrics from all artists/bands that we turn to for spiritual reasons. I listen mostly to Lecrae, Trip Lee, KB, Flame, and Bizzle. None of these are replacement for worship, but they are excellent sources for day to day spiritual warfare, for conviction, comfort, encouragement, and more.

Wolves At The Gate is Reformed. Their songs are very rich in theology and Gospel messages.

I have had the same question many times and I'm sure there are plenty of suggestions. I figured I'd throw my hat into the ring.

I just released this. There are bands I used to listen to (Periphery, Polyphia, Blink 182, etc) that I no longer do and noticed there weren't many bands to check out that made music like I like (pop punk, punk rock, metal, djent) so I figured I'd start making music.

As for my beliefs, I attend a reformed SBC church (https://www.sgbca.org), hold to the 1689 LBCF, and am active in evangelism and apologetics.
