It is not my job to stick up for preachers, it is my job to stick up for the gospel.

"The thief cometh only to steal and to kill and to destroy you, But Jesus has come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly"

why should anyone be grieved at someone else's abundance?
Our abundance is not for us, but for others. Its not so we can buy a mansion. Its not so we can live in excess. Look here at this scripture and compare it to the church in acts. The rich sold what they had, sold their lands, they didnt get rich selling their doctrine, nor did they buy huge mansions!

See here, your abundance is for others that lack, its not for a multi million dollar home.

2 Corinthians 8:13 Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. 14 At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, 15 as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.”

What happened here in this scripture anyway? The poor church wasnt getting prosperity? What happened? Were they not following Jesus?

The point is this

he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do as he has made up his mind , not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver.

And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance so that you always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work.

As it is written
He scatters abroad, He gives to the poor, His righteousness endures forever.

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your resources and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

You will be enriched in every way for great generosity which through us will produce thanksgiving unto God.

plenty, your plenty...their plenty.

You are the hung up one, we are concentrated upon getting others saved and blessed, the prosperity comes as a side issue.

God is the very God of plenty and abundance.

"My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me. I lead them in and lead them out into rich pasture"

Reminds you of

The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want

One does not need to "interpret"
What is plainly written .

Your play with ambiguities and distractions because like all cessationists.
There is Zero direct unambiguous scripture upon which to base your opinions.
You are attempting to defend delusion!

Satan has NO claim to one who is washed by the blood of the Lamb, and we listen to his lies when we refuse to walk in the Holy Spirit!
I think you did not read what I said .
You are right ..satan has "no claim" .

Just as a thief has No claim to your things.
..but he does steal them..
Thats why he is called a thief.

Jesus said of satan.. the thief came to steal kill and destroy...
But i have come to undo his works (pp)

No claim does not mean no ability..
The same thief has already stolen belief from many ... They run around saying tgey believe in JESUS.
But do not believe the lord JESUS will fulfil his word .
And they dont believe hes taljing to them on one point but think he Is talking to them in another sentance.

The thief has been very busy indeed. Stealibg faith.

I don't say otherwise, human bodies can be categorized as christians or non christians as well, all i say is that they can be there i don't know if in your body or where, but there causing trouble to non christians, and christians as well. And they just don't go away because you convert, specially from your past, they don't enter as easily in christians if you live your christian life well, but from your past...
I know this .. Thats my point.
In Jesus name and obedience tohim we have driven many devils Out of people.
It has been exactly like in the bible... The demon cried out threw the persons to the ground and came out.

It is for all disciples to Do this. It is NOT just pastors etc .

Jesus says i must go to the father Then (after) i will ask the father and He will send the Holy Spirit...

Jesus breaths on the disciples and says recieve the holy spirit.
Then after his resurrection Jesus tells them to go and wait in jerusalam untill they are endued with power (authority) .

Then they before the day of Pentecost..choose a replacement for Judas ,the old way of drawing straws (casting lots)without consulting God.

Aftee that They all 120 (about..not 12) obey him and are then baptised in the holy Spirit.

This is the timeline of scripture.
Why are you saying the timeline of scripture is delusional?

Or were you just goading ?

Yes, the thief is busy.

Matthew 6:19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The apostles are our examples to follow. They didnt earn millions selling their doctrine then call it Gods prosperity! Please friend, i think you need to wake up.
Hilarious.
How can anyone follow the apostles when cessationists insist that they, along with prophets etc. have all ceased to exist?

Jesus says i must go to the father Then (after) i will ask the father and He will send the Holy Spirit...

That is for continuation of the ministry. That was possible only with 12 which required replacement of Judas. Apostle Thomas had not received the Holy Spirit.

Jesus breaths on the disciples and says recieve the holy spirit.
Then after his resurrection Jesus tells them to go and wait in jerusalam untill they are endued with power (authority) .
Authority to continue with the ministry is different from receiving the Holy Spirit earlier.

Then they before the day of Pentecost..choose a replacement for Judas ,the old way of drawing straws (casting lots)without consulting God.
That was one of the ways of consulting God that they knew it at that time.

Aftee that They all 120 (about..not 12) obey him and are then baptised in the holy Spirit.
To equip them for the world wide ministry.

This is the timeline of scripture.
Why are you saying the timeline of scripture is delusional?
That is how it should be understood.

It remains true unless you produce from scripture another means for distributing the gifts of the Spirit.

Here is an ordinary disciple, Ananias, laying hands on Saul that he might regain his sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit!
Acts9v17And Ananias went away and entered into the house; and having laid the hands upon him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, the One having appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me that you may see again and be filled of the Holy Spirit.”

The fact that an ordinary believer prayed for an apostle to be filled with the Spirit stands as a full rebuke against your lies that only an apostle can distribute the gifts.

And again we see that it was the eldership, not the apostles who laid hands on Timothy to receive the gifts.
1Tim4v14Do not be negligent of the gift in you, which was given to you through prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the elderhood.

And just in case you try and twist the above scripture to claim it refers to the apostle Paul, lets consider that second scripture.
2Tim1v6For this reason I remind you to kindle anew the gift of God, which is in you by the laying on of my hands. 7For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, and of love, and of self-control.
Yes Paul laid hands on Timothy for gifts of the spirit, but in no way can that possibly negate the statement in 1Tim4v14 that the elders had also done the same.

Ananias was an apostle. One of the 70 first commissioned by Christ. Besides, if he wasn't, he became one when Jesus sent him to minister to Paul.

Im referring to the real apostles, the ones whos word is scripture.

Writing scripture does not make an apostle.

If that were the case, it discounts the many apostles who didn't write scripture, and the non apostles who wrote scriptures, like Mark and Luke, get added as new apostles.

Come on Dave, you're wriggling and will have to do better than that.
You're supposed to be the man who sticks to scripture and now you present something that's clearly not in scripture.

Show me the scripture that states Ananias is an apostle. If you can't do that, then you're busted.
As for me, I don't care because I know any faithful believer like Ananias or myself, can lay hands on someone to be filled with the spirit or to receive gifts.

But given your unbelief, you can't pray for people that way. You would first need to repent of all that cessationism garbage that blinds your mind.

Edited.
And you didn't answer my other example, that Timothy had hands laid on by the eldership, not the apostles, to receive his gifts.
(And another time by Paul)
