I never shop on Black Friday. Too much of a crowd, too much rudeness, and there is nothing I want badly enough to fight for.

Just junk they can't sell the rest of the year pretty much.

In some cases the 'sale' price on the sticker is the same as the regular price.

The sales we have here are as extreme as those in America, but shops are still packed enough for me not to even consider venturing out anywhere.

Most of the time the local online stores don't have anything I'm interested in on sale, but I did find something - my sole purchase today was some music-related mugs, but I did have some credit from that store, so I didn't actually spend any money today.

Physically going to stores on Black Friday? Nope! Not worth my time or my sanity. Plus, what High Fidelity said. They mostly discount junk that they're trying to get rid of.

Cyber Monday and online Black Friday sales are somewhat better, if I can get a discount on something that I was already planning to buy. All from the comfort of home.

Got a couple of pairs of jeans at 50% off that I've been needing. The store was busy but not overcrowded and there were no fights that I saw (though I did overhear some workers talking about someone that stole or tried to steal merchandise last night . . . smh).

My second job is at a mall, and today on my break I did go shopping. I picked up a camisole from H&M and two bras from Victoria's Secret...grand total of $50.

I have only been black friday shopping once and while it was fun it was also really exhausting being out all night long shopping,and I dont think I will do that again any time soon.

I've never done any shopping on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. This year I happen to be price checking an item on Wednesday and bookmarked some for later. When I went back to check on the bookmarks on Thursday one seller had changed the price from $123 to $300. I was like WHAT?!! Fortunately I had bookmarked the same item from another seller for $125 and I bought that one which turned out to be a really good price for that item after I did all my research. I do think some people are jerking prices, so I'm not so sure about all the "deals".

I went with my girlfriend to the mall. Didn't want to, we only see each other at holidays, wanted to find a better way to spend the time. It was alright. Every bench had some fellow there waiting for his girl, lol. Good conversations. One of them told me about how Hulu had this promotion for Black Friday. 99 cents a month for the year, then back to the normal price. So I signed up for it from my phone while sitting there at the mall. Guess that counts in a way as me having gotten something at the mall, lol.

I worked retail for a lot of years, so working on Thanksgiving/Black Friday was a mandatory thing. Thankfully, we never had any issues with the customers that I was ever aware of. It was tiring after a full shift, though. I haven't been out shopping on Black Friday in several years. It's easier to just stay home now.

I don't leave the house on Black Friday unless I have to go to work or I want to eat out for lunch. Cyber Monday, eh I've just never done it because I don't buy many things in general.

I'm a terrible consumer.

I never shop on 'Black Friday' or 'Cyber Monday' For Friday I think people deserve the day off and I never like looking for worthless 'discounts' among the unwashed multitudes. As far as online shopping I only very rarely do that.

yes! but did it without leaving my place. no need to bother with crowds, the deals are online. I bought a pair of tires for one of my cars, a SS drive, a little this and that. My largest purchase since Friday was a season pass at my local ski area. I was able to get in at the end of the early bird rate so, saved a bunch. I just love to shop but, try to spend wisely and some things I buy are used which saves even more. Lastly, much of what I buy I resell when I find the right deals. They are out there.

got a new suit jacket that was originally $400 and I paid $80 for it. Pretty happy about that. Adidas had great deals. Got 4 pairs of shorts for $30 on cyber Monday plus free shipping. Only place I went inside was Kohls for the jacket and a belt but that was Saturday. Most stores extend the deals all weekend.
