Scientists don't even know how old it is. They keep changing the age from several 10,000 to 100,000 to 1,000,000 and on. And there are many gaps in the theory.

History says its 6,000 years old around that. How come just because a guy with a PHd says God doesn't exist, evolution is true, and the Earth is 4.5 Billion years old and we are a cosmic accident true? Just because he has a PhD it automatically makes it a fact?

Also the claim that most scientists are athiest is a complete lie. Most are thiests, or don't claim to know. A fraction of them identify as athiest.

History doesn't say it's 6,000 years old. 6,000 years ago is about 4,000 BC: History says the Sumerian civilization was older than that, and Jericho dates to 9,600 BC.

1. Life on Earth is only about 6000 years old according to "Legal Code" in the Bible - Exodus 20:11 which goes directly to Genesis 2:1-4.
2. But the Bible account of 7 day creation does not start with God creating rocks on Earth. Rather it starts with Earth already existing "formless and void and water covered the surface of the deep". Which means that outside the framework of those 7 days - the "surface of the deep" pre-existed. No doubt it was also created by God ... but "when"?
3. Atheists "have no choice" but to adopt a religion of blind faith evolutionism as their doctrine on origins... what "other option" would an atheist have?

God's Word matters - Ex 20 - legal code
11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Genesis 2 quoted in legal code
"Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made."

4 This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

God's Word matters... as it turns out.

to not really worry about something that, in truth, doesn't really matter for the most part. if one doesn't subscribe to a certain religion's creation story, it doesn't automatically make them a subscriber to 'blind faith' evolution.

The philosophy behind atheism is flawed because if our brains are just a result of evolution and we just evolved out of monkey's then how in the world can we trust our brains when it comes to anything?

Agnosticism is a little more rational, but still with the philosophy of agnosticism we can't really know anything if our answers will always be "idk". But I respect agnostics that they don't go out blatantly claiming to know everything and that no God exists like the explicit atheists do.

1. Atheists have no other "option" -- this is irrefutable
2. Without the fall of mankind - there is no reason for the Gospel. Irrefutable.
3. Without God as perfect Creator making a sinless universe including mankind - there is no justice in condemning all mankind to hell so that we would even need salvation. - Irrefutable.

Details matter.

Atheism cannot show how to get a rabbit from dust rocks and gas... yet must 'believe in it' anyway, because they have no other option.
Agnosticism's main claim is "idk" --- so then it is by definition not a better solution than the Word of God because it starts off admitting it has no clue.

No. 6,000 is correct if you trace the genealogies of Genesis.

A fairly large fraction.

How come just because a guy with a PHd says God doesn't exist, evolution is true, and the Earth is 4.5 Billion years old and we are a cosmic accident true?

It's possible that God exists, evolution is false, and that the Earth is 4.5 Billion years old.

It's even possible that God exists, (theistic) evolution is true, and that the Earth is 4.5 Billion years old.

The earth is billions of years old. Adam/Eve was on the recreated earth in Genesis.
Once you read the bible throughout you will notice GOD has heaven/earth creation periods.

The world before which people believe Lucifer reigned was destroyed by water before adam/eve came on the scene. (2 peter 3:5-6)
That's why when the Holy Spirit moved, He was on the face of the waters because GOD destroyed the world before by water. (Genesis 1:2)

Now this heaven/earth period will be destroyed by fire. (2 Peter 3:7)

Nowhere in the Bible does it teach that the earth is young. The Bible does not say "the earth is 6,000 years old." Nor does it say "the earth is 4.5 billion years old." The fact is, the Bible makes no claims as to the age of the earth. We must interpret the age of the earth from science and the Bible. (If the Bible does not tell us, it must not be important.

There are plethoras of fruit-cakes out there that say all sorts of things, including that the earth is only 6000 years old.

The age of the earth is irrelevant to the doctrine of creation. God could have created the heavens and the earth billions of years ago and life on earth 6000 years ago. All we know about the creation of the heavens and the earth is that it was 'in the beginning'. That being true it would make sense that fossils that were mineralized by very old elements would be given that date.

People read the Bible in pure black and white. It was written in a time when man had little understanding of creation. God gave it to them in as simple a way as possible.
