Another.... Set of theories
Another... For 40 years iv heard these theories.
And im done with them.
They are empty.

If any one truley believes in the messiah and all he said.
They will act like they do.
Not just say they do.
They will fear GOD.
Forsake seeking this world and see first Gofs kingdom
They will leave persuit of this world and Go out to preach the gospel and do everything Jesus said to do.

Yom Kippur is the wedding. It is the "covering". Shulchan Aruch Harav 610:9 ; Hamelech Bemesibo, vol. 1, p. 115; Additionally according to Chabad custom the kittel is worn only by married men, for one is not punishable at the hands of Heaven before age twenty, once the typical age of marriage. After marriage, “a bridegroom who wore a kittel at his wedding does not wear one on the first Yom Kippur thereafter since he already wore it on his personal Yom Kippur that year, namely, his wedding day” (Sefer HaMinhagim, p. 124; Igrot Kodesh, Vol. 5, p. 87).

Very interesting article for those who follow G_d's plan for the end times.

https://kehilanews.com/2018/11/18/the-truth-about-rapture-and-the-lords-return/
The first sentence of the article tells me it is false.

"For the last 2000 years all true believers who have died have gone up into Heaven."
What is the purpose of the resurrection if all believers that died are already in heaven?

The article goes on to falsely teach that Yeshua blows the shofar in several OT passages even though the text says "YHWH" (Yeshua's Father) blows the shofar. If you disagree about this point, feel free to PM me for a discussion since I'm not permitted to discuss it in this forum (how sad).

It is not necessarily my view- it is offered for debate.

If you ask most believers today, a fairly large proportion of them believe their spouses / family members / close friends are in heaven waiting for them.

Can you say where you think they might be - purgatory?

"Asleep" like Yeshua said of Lazarus when asked.

But where are we 'asleep'. That seems to be the crux of the issue - is it a physical place like RC's think. .

So, who are the 'great multitude', in Revelation 7:7-9? Where are they, and how did they get there? Who are the 144,000 that the JW's think are theirs, in the earlier part of Revelation 7?

I am not defending the thesis, just trying get my head around it!

They are in the grave awaiting their resurrection.

The grave is definitely a "physical" place though while there we may no longer have a physical body.

They are saints that were resurrected from the dead and are dwelling in heaven, but that has not happened yet since the great tribulation has not happened yet. Revelation 7 is in our future.

The 144,000 of Revelation 7 are end-time saints in Messiah Yeshua who will be sealed to be able to survive the coming Day of YHWH which begins in Rev 8. They will be protected from YHWH's wrath as He judges the wicked. They are not the same group of 144,000 as in Rev 14. There are two groups of 144,000 totaling 288,000 to fulfill the type of David's kingdom in 1 Chronicles 27:1-15. David had 288,000 men that served him throughout the year (24,000 each month for 12 months).

Except the cremated, the vast majority nowadays, and those buried at sea, or pulverised in some way (accident / war).

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, will not stop the resurrection when God calls them up to rise forth. He remembers them all.

I agree, but I was saying that these people won't be in coffins. or graves, as per gadar perets' post #14

I am sure gadar peret isn't concerned on this detail either.

It's his point, that it makes the article fake - so it is obviously important where people now are, dead ones that is.
