Pray for Bullying

Amen, prayers for all effected by bullying

-for those who are being bullied now or have been bullied in the past, that they may find strength and comfort.

-for parents, teachers, etc. and for those who stand against bullying, that they may help to stop the bullying and make life a little easier for all.

Good prayer and much needed. I was bullied too here and there, particularly in middle school. That seems to be the time period for the most likely bullying. Bullying happens very commonly, and yes, teachers and administrators need to do their part about that.

I have prayed for all you asked for but also for holy angels to surround vulnerable children to protect them from bullies..

Praying that like David, all learn to 'take a stand' when it's necessary.

Hello Multifavs,

I am sorry that you had to experience this, and it grieves my spirit to know this -- even though it was in the past. I believe one of the major reasons why people are bullies is because of PRIDE. Such people are COWARDS and love to pick on someone they feel WON'T fight back. And if the one bullied were to fight back . . . the bully will retreat like a COWARD. Your approach in praying for such people is very honorable and Christlike. Whenever I hear or read about a bullied kid or adult having committed suicide, it breaks my heart and brings me to tears. Such people will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God UNLESS the Repent. Thanks for sharing and praying for these bullies.

Multifavs, my heart goes out to you, and I pray that you will feel the healing touch of Jesus in the wounds you've received. I taught 8th grade in public school for years, and I never put up with bullying in my classroom. But like someone pointed out, social media has become a whole new arena for bullying. May I suggest something to you? Every time you feel the hurt, pray for the souls of those who have bullied you! They need Jesus.

Father, I pray that You will strengthen those that are bullied with Your wisdom and strength. I pray You would lead them to lean on You, and not their own understanding. Habakkuk 3:19; Proverbs 3:5-6. I pray that they will come to know Jesus through salvation, or know Him better through greater associating with Him through Your Word. I pray they will learn to put on the whole armor (Ephesians 6:10-20), and also learn the follow steps to take and the people to contact when in a bullying situation. Amen.
