Let's see how good of a politician you are.

When it comes to Amazon locating in New York, you should:

1. Condemn the tax breaks and send them somewhere else

2. Fully support the tax breaks and vote in favor of them to later brag about how many jobs you helped create

3. Publicly condemn the tax breaks as corporate welfare and say you'll never support the idea while all along working as hard as you can behind the scenes to see that the deal goes through so you can later brag about how many jobs you helped create

Agreed. 50 years ago the share of federal tax burden was much higher from companies. Now it's via payroll taxes and citizens. Lots of offshore company money and corporate welfare doesn't help the cause either.
