Money and greed

So all of my uncles are very rich,they have all been very successful all of their lives,well now all of my uncles,which our my mom's brothers,my mom has 3 brothers,well all of them but 1 of my mom's brothers and my mom is not in on it,but my mom's oldest brother
,and even his kids are in on it,he has more money then all of them,well when my oldest uncle dies,all of my uncles but the 1 and my mom,are planning on going and getting all of his money,I think it is very wrong and very sad,but my family is very greedy,and that is what money does to you,it makes you very greedy,and now my uncle Bob's wife thinks that my mom just wants his money too because everyone else does,which she doesn't,and now she has stopped calling and texting my mom.

Money doesnt change anything or anyone...but it can magnify your personality. There are greedy rich and greedy poor people.

Maybe you should encourage all your family to make wills so that there is no questions as to what happens with the money after each it gone....

If the rich uncles have wills, then only the named heir/heirs get the money...
some will get contested but if there be no proof of wrong doings or whatever,
the money be distributed as it is stated in the will.
If there be no will, then it be they die "intestate" and the next of kin can go
and appeal to the court... all debts get paid and what money be left
is divided amongst the surviving relatives...that's typical but it be good to find
out how the matter of wills / intestate be where you live.

That is very true,it is just a shame,that my uncle's wife has no trust in my mom anymore,and that she would think that all my mom wants is my uncle's money like the rest of my family just wants all of his money.

I don´t know what is wrong with people. So many families end up not speaking to each other for years, just because of stupid money, pride, and people being greedy, or other idiotic minor things, that should not be more important than flesh and blood, it´s a disgrace! This is why communication is so important, it´s more important than anything. We must ask to know, not just think we know everything in advance. Mix ups happens so easily because we judge on something we don´t know. It´s a shame your uncles wife can´t see this, but jumps to conclusions, without hearing out your mom first. It´s sad that a relation has to end because of someones prejudice

I hope your mom and her will speak again someday.

well, in some countries there are actually companies who make it their job to find heirs who have a right to the assets of a person who died without a will (died "intestate").

The company, of course, gets commission for themselves, the heir gets unexpected money, everybody's happy.

I have read quite a few such stories and I was watching this video on youTube about it.

It's appealing.
