I saw VENOM last night -- Stan the Man had one of his 'cameo appearances' and I thought -- "I'll bet that's the last one."

How ironic that I saw that movie right before he passed away.

That sucks. Good guy; long life.

I just read the news, it's a great loss, but it was great that he got to see his creations come to life on the big screen.

He got to see his creations be popular on a scale he never dreamed of -- super-hero movies making millions and millions -- and I once paid twelve cents in 1966 for the first comic that had Black Panther in it; it was an issue of Fantastic Four.

One of the 20th Centurie's greatest contributors to pop culture.

Kind of obscure, but Stan Lee did an animated series in the early '8os (Spider Man & His Amazing Friends).. I liked Lee's brief narration(s) on it.
