If?????? What is so hard about admitting that no logical reasoning exists to support the birther argument???
i did not check it out myself - if your info is true then yes - if your info is not then no -

i don't have the time or interest to find out if it is true or not - it doesn't matter to me one way or the other - it only seems to matter to mo right now -

does it matter to you if he was or wasn't born in the usa or if his mother was an american citizen? - he did his 8 years as pres so what difference does it make to anything?

well one time ice went to do its job a ca mayor notified all the illegals a day ahead and 50% got away

That has nothing to do with this discussion about eVerify. Enforcing eVerify has nothing to do with capturing illegal immigrants; it is instead about denying them work in the United States. And it has been proven that if they can't earn money, they aren't going to bother coming -- and will even leave, the United States.

how are you going to enforce e verify in a state that refuses? - a wall is a federal issue so it will work much better than state run agencies can do

You have heard of the FBI? ICE? Both would be pretty useless if they could not enforce federal law in any of the states.

israel has a fence and it helps tremendously - pretty easy to cross where there is no fence - pretty hard to cross where there is one

That is nice. Of course, it helps that it is only 440 miles long, compared to the 2,000 mile long border that Trump's wall would need to cover -- much of it in rather desolate areas.

OTOH, again, the fact remains that a wall would not stop the majority of illegals from entering the country. They come in through legal means, such as on a tourist visa; or they are smuggled in, such as in trucks crossing the border; or they go around where a wall would be, in boats on the ocean; etc. And that doesn't count the numerous tunnels that have been built going under the wall -- largely used to help smuggle drugs.

does it really matter? - it looks like a fence - except it's 30' tall

like who cares if a 30' tall construction that looks like a fence is a fence or a wall?

how silly do we have to get about attacking trump? - my goodness

It's not silly. A wall is not a fence. Trump didn't promise a fence, he promised a concrete and rebar wall. There is a big difference between the costs of a fence and a wall. What they built there serves the exact same purpose as a wall, but is multitudes less expensive in terms of installation and upkeep.

So, I care if it's a fence or a wall. It is not silly to me. It is important. How silly do you have to get about defending Trump?

where do you get your ideas that trump caused it?
From Trump, himself.

What did you think would happen if you call someone an "enemy of the people" day in, day out, over and over again and hold large rallies where you work up the people into a frenzy over this threat of an enemy among us?

Honestly, Truthfrees... What good do you think was going to come from that?

And you never answered my previous question.

Let's start with Madonna being the MAGA bomber's source of inspiration.

Where did that come from? Where are you getting this information?

It's fine. But it is not a "concrete and rebar" wall. But Trump supporters keep saying it is a wall. I'm sorry, but it makes them sound delusional, especially after I spent the election cycle arguing for a fence and not a wall but being told, on here constantly, that a wall is necessary and a fence won't do.

You know who really don't want a physical barrier along Southern border? Texans who live along the Rio Grande. Their communities and farms rely upon unfettered access to the Rio Grande as a water source. You can't build a wall in the middle of the river. You can't build a wall on the south side of the river, as that would be an illegal invasion of Mexico. If you're going to build a wall, the only place to build it would be on our side of the border, cutting Americans off from a vital resource.

But what's the suffering of a few hundred thousand American citizens when measured against the need to protect our whole nation from the made up threat of ISIS terrorists slipping across the border in a giant caravan?

The Tohono O’odham Nation doesn't want the border wall on their tribal land either.
