There is two types of Christian. There is a greater expression of the self-seeking ones here rather than the selfless servant (it has been a problem ever since the beginning - when those who teach false doctrines have found opportunity to teach their own ideas - consider Philippians 2:19-24).
The comforts of anonymity and freedom in this place (as being an environment which provides fair access to all types of Christians without a hierarchy of authority to maintain order), it provides a platform for everyone to express their views without hindrance, that they wouldn't have such freedom to preach unimpeded in a normal church environment (the accountability factor).
