I kno how you feel and to not want to turn the other cheek and stay angry harbor bitterness is your choice. you can walk down the path being a cold harded person with zero trust in anyone is that how you want to live your life. so be it but I'll will tell you this much it's a lonely road and when you need some one to depend on besides Christ, there wouldn't be any you pushed everyone away, please learn be a forgiving person it doesn't mean what they do is OK it frees you from them prayers n hugs

I hate my professor so, so much.

Also, had to go into the ER and had a really, really awful experience.

Two things:
1) I was in severe pain that I was puking and nearly blacking out (what else is new with this body)
2) I was suicidal.

And all the doctor said was, "Well, if you just changed your cognitive thoughts on this, it wouldn't be so bad!" And then refused to see me for the rest of the night so his nurse had to everything.

After they doped me up on pain meds, they freed me.

Sorry you are enduring another bad episode. Try to rest as much as you can and concentrate on activities that you enjoy and relax you.

What’s going on with your prof? Anything you want to share that would help you?

I’m getting over another bronchial infection, not a bad one, though.

I’m finding myself in a little too deep with “stuff”. I’m helping out a band whose drummer was in a motorcycle wreck plus the band I am already in, as well my usual community service work. I’m afraid my difficulty in saying “no” is biting me on the the backside this week.

Also, we just had our 34th anniversary and there are a couple of music concerts the wife really wants to attend.

The money from the extra music gigs is nice, and I’m still keeping up with my daily visits to the gym, but I’m nearly 66 and sometimes forget my energy doesn’t go as far as it used to....lol!

I woke up depressed today. My fiance is also depressed. This day doesn't feel like it's going to be good and I'm scared. Bad days with us tend to be horrible. I've been reading about survival from the sex industry on this forum, as I struggle with sexual addiction and I'm trying to see the damage I've done to others. It's depressed me even more. I suppose it should though. I hate the person I was. I wish I could just be the man I always wanted to be. I wish I could take away everything I've done in the past. I wish my fiance wasn't so hurt because of me. I wish I was strictly a source of comfort for her.

I don't know how to make today better. I have no motivation. I'm anxious. I have no friends. She has no friends. We only have each other. And I'm a source of pain for her. Today, I feel weak. We only do well if I'm strong. I don't know how to be strong today and I hate it. I hate feeling this way. I just want to be "normal". I know it's not really a thing, but I don't want to be mentally sick anymore. I don't want to be a sober sex addict. I just want to be someone who never was a sex addict. I want to talk to God today, but my depression just blocks me and it's not fair. I feel like I can't hear him on days like today.

Sorry about the knee problems. At least you have been spared the headaches today.

I live near Tyler so it’s been damp here as well with gradual temperature drops. Can’t get much work done on the property; never dries out enough for painting, pouring concrete or whatever.

i've been good all week apart of this morning where i was awoken at 5am by the house shaking from an 5.4 magnitude earthquake. Felt as crook as a dog afterwards and struggled with anxiety ever since.

Will there be a big one? i hope not! Not common for this place but we have had a whole series of earthquakes this year the one this morning literally rattled the place.

Congrats on your anniversary!!

My professor is a nationalist for a country she no longer has ties to (as in, removed by quite a few generations), has said xenophobic and ableist things (such as being fake for seeking therapy) and plays favorites. We're now entering modern Russian history, and if she docks me for not acknowledging Comrade Putin and how supposedly great he was (basically ignoring the lecture and focusing on the readings or the music), I am going to be even more miffed. She started failing me after I had suggested she not use "fake/bad friend if you go to therapy" and excused it as that country's culture when it's not.

I had trouble getting out of bed this morning. I am missing too much work lately.

To overcome the negativity of the depression, that's the point. Looking at Jesus and not the mountain called depression does the trick.

frustrated - how do you handle it when you see a youtube video's comments bashing Christianity and promoting paganism because of the atrocities Christians committed against indigenous populations? Sure - I don't like the way that Christianity was always spread but I think that the indigenous populations needed to hear the gospel, let alone everyone needs to hear the gospel...how do you handle this?
