Unfortunately this motto of the forefathers has been largely forgotten today.

Isaiah 9:8-12 The Lord has sent forth His Word against Jacob and it will fall upon Israel. All the people of Ephraim1 and those in Samaria2 will know of it, though in their pride and arrogance they say: The bricks have fallen, but we will rebuild in stone and the sycamores are cut down , but we will grow cedars in their place.
The Lord had roused their enemies3 against them and they have swallowed Israel completely. For all this, His anger has not abated, His hand still threatens.

1/ Ephraim – The leader of the Northern ten tribes; the House of Israel, swallowed and lost to history, now scattered among the nations, but predominantly the Western peoples.

2/ Samaria – The ancient capital city of the House of Israel in the holy Land.

3/ Assyria – They conquered and exiled Israel in 722-717 BC. Isaiah 10:5-6

So this prophecy has been fulfilled. To say that Isaiah 9:10 applies to the U.S.A. after 9/11, is pretentious and is false teaching.

Isaiah 9:13-17 Yet the people did not come back to Him who struck them, nor seek guidance from their Maker. So therefore, on one Day,4 the Lord will cut off head and tail, palm frond and reed. The head is the elders and leaders, the tail is the false teachers and prophets. Those who guide this people have led them astray and those who follow their wrong leadings are lost to the truth. That is why the Lord shows no mercy to that nation of godless evildoers, every one of them speaking impurity. So in His anger He will smite them, His hand will chastise them. Jeremiah 8:14-17
4/ The great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, a single day of worldwide disaster.

This prophecy refers to our time, atheism and apostasy are rife, people follow false teachers.
Ezekiel 22:26-29, Jeremiah 8:7-9, 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Isaiah 9:18-21 Wicked people will burn in a fire5, a fire as hot as one fed with thorn bushes, they will be engulfed in a pall of smoke. The land will be burnt and devastated6 by the wrath of God Almighty and the people are as fuel for the fire. Isaiah 6:11-12

Now, people are fed that which does not satisfy, their children and kinsmen are not respected or honoured. So the Lord’s anger will fall upon them, His hand will exact punishment. Deuteronomy 7:10, Proverbs 16:4-5, Romans 1:18, Zephaniah 1:14-18

5/ The next prophesied event is a terrible judgement by fire, instigated by the Lord, but He will not be seen at that time. Psalms 18:11 We are informed by Isaiah 30:26 exactly what it is that the Lord will use to carry out this worldwide punishment, it will be a Coronal Mass Ejection of unprecedented magnitude. Malachi 4:1, Isaiah 66:15-16, Zeph. 3:8

6/ The holy Land, that is: all of that area given to Abraham, will be the most affected. Ezekiel 20:46-48, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Jer. 4:7, Jer. 11:15-16, Jer. 22:6-7, Zephaniah 1:18, Hosea 4:3. It will be completely cleared and cleansed, but then the Lord promises regeneration for the Land, Ezekiel 36:8, Isaiah 30:23-24, Jeremiah 33:6-9. Faithful Christian Israelites will go and live there in peace and security. Ezekiel 34:11-31, Isaiah 35:1-10, Romans 9:26

Now, in the very near future, the Lord who ‘has restrained Himself so long’ - Isaiah 42:14, will take action against His enemies. We, His servants, must heed Isaiah 30:15…In calm detachment lies your safety, your strength in quiet trust. Psalms 37:3-13, John 14:1

I dont see it referring to us, our time or our near future.

Remember, it was written a 'Very' long time ago. All through history people have been claiming what you claim. All the great wars that have raged, all the great sufferings through history, i am sure they thought the time was near! Imagine during WWII and the holocaust. I bet they though 'that' was the end too!

No, i think you are mislead in your constant prophesies on end times my friend.

Jesus came and conquered. 70AD was the turning point. A new covenant.

To me, you are reading too much from the scripture. You are putting your view on it and that view is always 'end times'. 'End times' came in 70AD. The old ways were washed away. A new covenant was born.

Jesus suffered and died for mankind. He brought us all a way to heaven, to God. The good will be rewarded, the evil punished. This happens at death.

Rather obviously, the 'end times ' did not come in 70 AD.
We and the Jews continued on; the Jews in their rejection of Jesus and all the Gentiles whom God has called, are grafted into the Tree of Life. We Christians now number a vast multitude, a people of God from every tribe of Israel, every race, nation and language and our destiny is to be the people God always wanted in His holy Land, but has never had.
Thinking there is any other outcome for this present age, is a denial of plainly stated scripture. You just stay in the dark, if you fail to understand what the Lord is about to do in His Creation.

You read end times into our generation. Our future. To do that, one must think that Jesus failed in His ministry? I believe Jesus conquered all. I believe 70AD saw the new covenant be born.

Revelation, as mentioned before, was written before 70AD. It all points to 70AD. There are scholars who believe Revelation was written much earlier than some others believe.

All through history there have been so called 'experts' on end times. Each thinking everything they read in scripture pointed to something happening during their generation. Me? I stick with knowing that Our Lord came and conquered all.

We DO have a future!
What that will be is plainly told to us by the Prophets. All their unfulfilled prophesies will come to pass, literally if that is possible or spiritually as described.
Jesus proclaimed the New Covenant, but obviously it was not fully implemented then and we await the Day when the Lord will give us a new heart and full understanding.
Revelation, as mentioned before, was written before 70AD. It all points to 70AD. There are scholars who believe Revelation was written much earlier than some others believe.
There is proof that John wrote Revelation during Emperor Dominitian's reign, circa 90 AD
An earlier date is just promoted in order to fit wrong beliefs.

There is still quite a few things that remain to be conquered.
Daniel 12:9-10 tells us that no one will understand until the last days, then a few will understand the prophesies. That we are now in the end times, the final few years before Jesus Returns, is proved by the fact of nearly 2000 years having passed since Jesus came.

Revelation was written earlier:

A Hell of a Lot of Confusion

The Book of Revelation Was Written Before AD 70

All makes complete sense if you read these. But, i guess you will stick to your own individual beliefs.

Those who trust in the Lord will rejoice in the holy Land:

Isaiah 41:8-20 But you, Israel My servant – Jacob whom I have chosen, the descendants of My friend Abraham. I have summoned you from the ends of the earth and called you My servants. Have no fear, for I am with you – I am your God. I shall strengthen you with My victorious right hand.
Now, all who defy you will be humiliated. They will be as nothing and will perish. Your enemies will no longer be found.

For I, the Lord your God will help you. Have no fear Jacob, you worm, Israel you maggot, your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. See; I shall make of you a sharp threshing sledge. You will thresh and winnow the land and the wind will carry away all that pollutes the holy Land. Then you will rejoice in the Lord.

The poor and needy look for water and find none. The Lord will not forsake them, He will open up springs in the hills and pools in the desert. All kinds of trees will flourish in the Land, so that everyone may see and understand that the Lord Himself has created this.

Isaiah 40:27-31 Jacob, why do you complain? You Israel, why do you say: my cause goes unheeded by my God? Do you not know, have you not heard – the Lord does not grow weary or faint and His understanding cannot be fathomed.

The Lord gives strength to the weary and those who trust in Him will soar as on eagles wings, they will run and not feel faint, march on and not be tired.
Ref. REB some verses abridged.

‘Israel My servant, the descendants of Jacob, whom I have chosen. I have summoned My servants from the ends of the earth; out of every nation.’ The Lord’s righteous people, now every faithful Christian, called out of the nations after the Lord’s Day of vengeance. They will be helped and strengthened by their God. As we know from other prophesies and the New Testament, the Lord’s servants also include people of every race, tribe, language and nation. We Christians are His people by faith.

‘Any who oppose them will be destroyed, by God’s victorious Right Hand’. The Lord Jesus will instigate this judgement/punishment of the nations. Psalms 110:5-6, Luke 3:16-17, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Micah 7:10

‘Jacob you worm, Israel you maggot’ The Lord has a sense of humour! The people of all the 12 tribes are unworthy, but God will fulfil His promises to the Patriarchs through their descendants who believe in God by faith. Galatians 3:26-29

‘The storm wind sent by the Lord, will remove all that pollutes the holy Land’, This refers to the Day of the Lord’s wrath, a terrible worldwide devastation by fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis. Isaiah 30:25-28, Malachi 4:1, 2 Peter 3:7

‘The Lord will provide water and the Land will flourish, all will acknowledge the Lords hand in this’. Once again it will be all habitable and fertile. Ezekiel 25:5-7, Ezekiel 36:8, Isaiah 25:9, Amos 9:13, Isaiah 51:3, Isaiah 49:19

The poor and needy”, This is a description of His people, when they first enter the Land. ‘The Lord will give them strength, they will march into their heritage and not be weary’. Psalms 107:1-43, Isaiah 35:1-10, Jer. 31:7-14, Psalms 68:24-27

Be patient, Israel, God is in control. Psalms 37:5, Jeremiah 23:24
Put your trust in the Lord, He will help and strengthen you. 2 Corinthians 6:1-2
