Long time since I've been here...used to be a Computer forum but guess this is where to go..updated 2012 mac mini to Mojave but having troubles...get this in activity monitor/console:

Nov 8 14:45:35 Mac-Mini-2176 com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (0jHYk[2157]): Service exited with abnormal code: 126
Nov 8 14:45:35 Mac-Mini-2176 com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (0jHYk): Service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds.

in Processes HDADTIsZ is sucking all my RAM then crushing Swap Memory...3 days into this help appreciated...thank you!

Oh...for whatever reason unable to boot into SAFE even replaced wireless keyboard with wired but no success...ran first aid on disk utility but no success...and I did update to 10.14.1 but no change..

...copied this from my MacRumors post...not getting much attention there...thanks for your consideration..

I'm not overly familiar with MacOS error logs, but the fact that seems to be launching a service called "0jHYk" and you have another process (HDADTIsZ) that only shows up on these posts makes me inclined to think you have a virus.

It's possible it may not have been able to start until the upgrade (for a number of reasons), or it's always been running but now it's broken.

You could try checking your startup list and see if there's anything unusual in there; but if it is a virus, and it's designed well, it probably won't show up (but it's still worth a look).

Either way, you're probably better off reinstalling MacOS. Could be a gamble as to whether or not the infection will carry over to a backup if you were to try and copy stuff.

Hello there,
I have a macbook pro and I might be able to assist. Have you checked out google by googling "Mojave ISO download"? If you know how to use Balena Etcher on a Windows PC, you could download the ISO image of MacOS Mojave and install it on your USB. Then you could install the OS that way.

As @Wookiee mentioned, you may have a virus or a coin miner.

You can use gibMacOs (some technical skills required) to download installers for many versions of OSX directly from Apple's CDN. If you need help, reach out via PM and I am more than happy to help.
