The weak and strong

Those who are weak will shame the strong among you. Because the one who is weak knows what the love of Christ is. For those who are strong, they do not know the love of Christ so much as those who are weak. For those who are strong will assume that they have earned their heaven, but those who are weak will learn the true love of Christ. They will embarrass those who are only busy with the law because they will testify to great knowledge.

God chooses the weak to shame the strong and there is a good reason for that. For those who are weak have experienced the love of God and they know what grace means. They will shame anyone who is strong and judge others with the law, with the knowledge and grace they have. They receive this knowledge and grace from God and through this they learn the love of Christ. For in the love of Christ there is no judgment against others, for the weak will have to admit: I have not deserved mercy. I have not earned the love of Christ. But the strong one will say: I have earned them. That is why there is more wisdom and knowledge in that which is despicable to the world because they know God and His love and mercy. God wanted it so that no one could boast.

For the strong one will not be able to boast of what he has done because he will see that the weak has more knowledge than himself. And the weak one will not boast of anything because he will realize that everything he received from God was undeserved. Thus, the one who thought he would earn and the one who does not think he deserves it can not boast of anything and all honor will go to God. God wanted it that way and I'm glad about that. Christ also says it: thank God that you have hidden the wisdom for those who think they are wise and have revealed to the little children. Thank God. Your will is really just and good. We do not judge others on the laws, it is not our work.

I learned that, because I am a great sinner. I've been worse, but I'm certainly not perfect yet and will never be. Yet I have felt the love of God for me and I now understand that I have no one to judge on any law because if that were the case, then I would never have felt the love of God. There is more wisdom in a sinner than in those who think to be righteous. For the sinner becomes righteous, but he who thinks he is righteous will be humbled. We can not earn love. We can not earn mercy. It is a gift. And that gift is not for those who are righteous but for those who are sinners. For those who are righteous do not need a medicine man, as Christ says.

So if you think that you are righteous, because you keep the law so well, then you have disposed of the grace of Christ. You have put the gift next to you and say: I do not need it. But those who are weak and occasionally sin because they are weak and stupid, they will learn the true love of Christ and what it means. For Christ will also love them. In fact, Christ even died for them.
