It is love and intimacy, care and support which is the foundation of the gospel.
Healing comes as a gift of the Spirit, and where the Spirit is so there will be healing.
But above healing is the Lords will.
asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
col 1:9
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Rom 12:2
The problem we have is in our hearts, in our passions, in our views and ways of judging others.
If the world could heal people, the world would not be any different than it is. Technology has removed many barriers and conquered many issues of our existence yet even with medicine it prolongs the way we live, it does not transform it.
But the cross, repentance, humbleness, brokenness and with an open heart letting love change us and mold us, knows no end into eternity and beyond.
Healing is a gift of love from God to man through us. But if we have not love in our hearts we are an empty vessel playing at religion. And if we put healing above love, we have just become false teachers, and leading people into the spectacular and the world of propoganda and exaguration.
