Not a good move on Trump's part.

An aide to Ryan declined to comment to CNN on the President's tweet.

Separately, a senior GOP aide defended Ryan when asked about Trump's tweet.

"This is a great way to screw up the message a week before the election," this aide told CNN. "First the birthright comment itself and now attacking the top Republican in Congress who is trying to save our majority."

LOL. Trump is the one who didn't bother to learn diddly squat about the facts before going on TV saying that the US is the only country with birthright citizenship when most countries in the North & South America continents do.

He can go right on being petulant that somebody schooled him but Ryan was right.

{grinding noises}

And the Conservisphere gearing up to attack Ryan.

I can't see too many in the conservisphere gearing up to support an executive order designed to nullify a part of the constitution.

I can. Anything Trump says or does is good and right for a fair number of them.

Ryan is retiring so if the Republicans hold the House they will have to elect a new speaker, my guess is this rhetoric is to influence those who will still be around and any newbies.

It is sad that Ryan would rather quit than to stand firm against 45.

I don't really think PR wanted that job to start with when Boehner retired, he was one of the only people both sides of the Republican party would vote for.

So why did he take the job if he did not want it?

You'd have to ask him that to be sure, I can only speculate that he saw it as a way to close the divide in the Republican members of the House. How he figured to get the more Conservative members onboard with the Establishment agenda is beyond me, I imagine it ended up being like herding cats.

Oh,I did not understand that you were speculating.

Anyway it's good that he's leaving he was for Open Borders and a reason why immigration reform and money for the wall hasn't happened.

Well, I am not for the wall. It reminds me of the Berlin Wall; the Iron Curtain.
