When you call out destruction on someone’s life and then witness God carry out their destruction before you - it’s a very scary and humbling thing.

Interesting....I thought of killing my family over what they had done to me for about 16 former years of my life. That was decades ago and everyone has lived pretty amazing lives. You have a god that I'm not familiar with. Scary.

It seems everyone who commited a sin usually got a punishment harsh and that fit the crime. However has anyone ever commited a sin in the Bible and God barely punished them... if not at all?
God watches everything and so do a cloud of witnesses, that is deceased saints, and hundreds of thousands of angels are always there around to record your deeds and words.

"The wages of sin is death." Seeing as we are all 'talking' right now, seems like we all got away with that sin for now.

No sin goes unpunished, the only way you can "get away with sin" is to put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repent from your sins and you will be saved.

I saw a show on TV this last weekend where they were investigating an unusual building on an island in Argentina. Access is restricted by the government.

When the reporter got to the town on the shore near the island, he got a shock. The town had been full of nazi war criminals including Josef Mengele, Adolph Eichmann and a few of the nuclear scientists who worked on the German ww2 atomic weapon program. Argentina wanted nuclear power and prez Peron liked the Nazis. Some even said that Hitler himself lived in that town into the 1960s. So the show concluded with the thought that some of the most notorious war criminals in history got to live out lives and die a natural peaceful death without ever coming to justice.

But my wife quipped that even if they escaped justice in this life, they would not in the next.

It is like what Psalms 92:6-7 and 37:7-10 says, respectively:

"The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this: that though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to destruction forever."

"Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land. In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there."

I didn't look deeper into the Bible for that but I know that in the present life the wicked seem to be lucky and get away with their deceptions, betrayals and slanderings while the ones who are devoted to the Lord get slandered for nothing.

Aaron made the golden calf, but remained high priest of israel.

And had to watch the destruction of the people he allowed and enabled to turn away from God, in Exodus 32:25-28 . "And he said unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Put ye every man his sword upon his thigh, and go to and fro from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor."

35 And Jehovah smote the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

God punishes the ones he loves the most, he said so.

The thief on the Cross...or those that just believed and that belief was counted as righteousness. LOT? Think he was SINLESS? God saw him as ONE righteous and could not destroy those cities "as long as you are here I can do nothing"

How we see SIN God does not. The PRICE..the WAGES for SIN = death in this world. And one can never see the Father or heaven. By one mans sin.. by one mans death...
