Not knowing with religion is true

I believe you could be feeling a tug by the Very Spirit you seek to please....A tug to fill a void.......a void that can no longer be satisfied by doctrines laws and beliefs. A void that can only be satisfied with a knowledge of the Truth. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

I would advise to not look to replace one belief with another...as this would give no progress. Yet try and follow the lead of the Spirit...seeking Him where and while He can be found.....

Who said He commanded something wrong? My point was that usually in the Bible when people did things in the name of God, when God didn’t command or favor it, He wasn’t pleased. Same for if they saved people they weren’t suppose to save, He was also displeased.

I'll remove my message to you so can feel like your message will go through unimpeded....

It can be very hard to select a path when people on both sides demand to be heeded without question, or else damnation. Yet there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother..... When you find Him, or allow Him to find you....He wont lead you astray....

Are you comparing the Bible to the Quran and basing your need for religion on a decision on which is the truth? Because that isn't the question you need to answer. First of all in the literary sense God and Allah are the same. (I didn't say literally, is said literary). Secondly, the question you need to have answered isn't which book is right, but is Jesus the one to follow or is Mohammed?

If your understanding of Islam is just what you see others doing and you find yourself comparing all Christians with all Muslims, then remember that a lot of Muslims are gathering at their local Mosque with their sajjadat salat and finding the direction of Mecca and on their knees and bowing and praying a ritual (all of it is a ritual) out of fear, not love.

So, if the issue is DOING vs talking there are many things you can do that are of Islam while keeping Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, as the center of your faith. (Except you should not make real fear the reason you are or you might be following the wrong religion.)

Faith: There is only one God and he is Adonai, El Shaddai, Yahweh. And there is but one savior and only one Lord, Jesus of Nazareth.
Prayer: Pray to the one and only true God Yahweh in the name of Jesus Christ and do it 1 to 30 times a day with reverence - but not rituals. If you want to get a prayer rug and religiously pray just 5 times a day then do so. Just not facing a particular direction because of some physical building located in that direction. God does not need that and Jesus isn't in that direction. He is in your heart.
Charity: Tithe 10% of what you "profit" to the local church and then give more as you feel blessed to do. Take a young person and teach them to fish. Build a home for less fortunate. Volunteer at a soup kitchen. Help an elderly veteran with his wheel chair ramp. Buy some medicines for a less fortunate scoundrel, and do it in the name of Jesus. But start at home with your parents and children. Make your spouse more important than your BFF.
Fasting: Abstain from food and drink from dawn to dusk but rather than for a particular month, just do it at least 30 times a year. And rather than for just one month, put more effort into following the teachings of Jesus by refraining from violence, anger, envy, greed, lust, profane language, gossip and to try to get along with ALL MEN better 365 days a year.
Pilgrimage to Israel: It isn't required at all, but just once try to visit the place where Jesus ascended to heaven to be with the Father. Or your local church. Or, to Washington DC. And while there pray to God through Jesus Christ for your salvation if you haven't already. Another pilgrimage one should make a few times a year is to get out of that seat in church and go up to the pulpit, take the pastors hand, and say a prayer of thanksgiving for his service to the congregation. Just sayin...,.

The question is: Is Jesus really who he says he is? Study his work (life, words...) and put it against the old testament. Can you see Jesus in the old testament?
I'd advise listening to Rc sproul and John piper's sermons. They helped me a lot. Put their words against the Bible and see if it makes sense.
I read and studied Luke 19: 35 to 20:20 this weekend. It could help you. Here Jesus affirms His authority by fulfilling scripture and touches on why people don't believe. I also find the Henry Matthew commentary of the whole bible helpful. It's available on www.biblestudytools.com

She/He is listen to us Christians because we have the truth......Wait....where you saying what the Muslim evangelist would say? Or the Christian? Either way, was my answer acceptable?..... If not, do you have an answer that Only a Christian Evangelist can say? e.g. that doesn't point a religious book or the contents therein?

With Islam it is based all on fear. Fear is the driving force behind all worship in Islam, even though some may say different, it is fear. You've already seen it, they are introducing you to Islam with a threat.

The God of Islam and the God of Jesus and Christianity are different Gods. (I worshipped in both faiths, they are very much different entities.)

But, the God of Jesus our Messiah is based in love. Jesus is God in the Flesh who came down from heaven to provide a path for our salvation and our reconciliation to God. We love HIM because He first loved us, we worship Him because He is worthy.

Which God does your heart say is worth your worship? The one who kills your body for choosing a different religion (this is true, I am under death penalty in Islam for choosing the Christian faith)?

The one where you are a slave and not free (Islam), or the one who offers you freedom and love? (Christianity?)

I chose to follow Christ, and haven't regretted even a minute. I know I am worshiping God, because only a God would say I love you and not fear you to have freedom.

The God of Islam is a weak god. He is afraid for you to have freedom. Tries to control you though fear and hate.

Only a powerful and sovereign God gives you freedom and love. That God is found in Christianity if you seek Him.

Jesus said I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through me. He offered you a path of forgiveness and reconciliation, and it's paved in love.

He lived a sinless life, conquered death and hell and paved the way for us to follow.

Ask and He will answer, the Bible says. Ask God, the God who is in Heaven, to help you..

Let's look at the Qur'an. In Surah al-Mai'dah, Chapter 5 verse 47 it says

"Let the people of the gospel judge by what God has revealed in it. And whoever does not judge by what God has revealed (in the Gospel) those they are the defiantly disobedient."

Since you are a born Christian you are one of the people of the Gospel and the Qur'an tells you you must judge by what was revealed in the Bible. (Not the Qur'an)

So, who does the Bible tell you Jesus is? Do you know?

If you follow the rule of evidence the Old Testament and New Testament pass with flying colors. Why? Dozens of different writers who keep the same consistent message of God’s Deliverance of mankind with thousands of eyewitnesses.

The Quran was witnessed by one man Muhammad.

Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.

Mahomet's body rots in his grave in Medina (I think it is there) as an image of what's happening to his soul in hell, if he died without repentance.

To paraphrase an old preacher of mine, Dr. John Rawlings, he said there are only two religions. There isn't many, only two. There isn't Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Sekhism, Buddhism, and the like. Only two, the religion of Jesus Christ, and the religion of the devil.

To be honest, the way that we can know Islam is false is because of ridiculous claims like the following.

There is a Hadith which says that if a fly falls into your drink, you must submerge it, because it has the disease in one wing, and the cure for the disease in the other wing. Nonsense.

- The Prophet said "If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease." (Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 54, Number 537)
