Was science yet able to prove the existence of the soul?

Many people such as myself have undergone out of body experiences. There are things that cannot be fully explained or understood but that sure doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

From my own experience, maybe possibly it was a very convincing dream or vision. But I did sure see myself laying on my bed in a different point of view in real time (everything in my room was the same even the lighting, my exact position on the bed and the stuff on my floor), I couldn't move my physical body yet even though I wanted to wake up. The experience didn't last long, in a moment I returned back into my body and I just saw blackness and was able to be move my body again while having a rapid heartbeat since I was shocked by the experience.

People can have the wrong idea about what a soul is, and so they can't prove it exists since it isn't what the soul really is.

My opinion is the soul is simply the experiencing you who can experience what is happening spiritually and physically. So, your soul is spiritual in existence.

But in sin we can mainly be aware of what is happening in our bodies, since in sin we are mainly about controlling this world's things for pleasure and using people. So, we give our main attention to appearance which is outward and to how people act, and we put on our outward acting in order to get what we want with people and to keep people from interfering with the pleasure and security we want.

But if we trust in Jesus, we start to actually experience God Himself in His love. Our soul has been converted from flesh stuff awareness, to sharing with and submitting to God and loving any and all people, as God in us shares with us how His love is all-loving. But still we can feel what is happening in our bodies, but we are not controlled by this; we are not controlled by dominating passions for pleasure and control and excitement, because we are sharing with God quietly in His gentle and kind love having Heaven-quality pleasant rest which satisfies us so we can't be fooled into seeking the fake security and pleasure of physical things and using people.

So, this is what I think a soul is really about . . . to some extent.

And if I am right, you can see where your attention needs to be, maybe, from this. If we are busy with having experiences which are not with God, not busy with submitting to how God takes us along, then our attention is being tricked. We need to seek God for how He is able to correct us and mature us with Him in His love, and He has us sharing as His family. So, we need to not be getting isolated with stuff that is away from this.

I read, by the way, how the body is designed to paralyze you while you are dreaming . . . so you don't physically act out whatever you are doing during a dream. I think you can see the advantage of this :)

There is one part of the brain that keeps you "located" and that part is occasionally sleeping. Because your eyes focus upside down, it's your brains job to "mentally" flip the image again to keep you walking on the ground. "Up" and "down" are all in your mind and we could all be outside our body, with practice. And then there is your vision blind spot which your mind fills in with imagined information.

Yes. This was proven by the University of Arizona in 2004. It was shown near the end of the documentary 'The Day I Died'
By today's tech time 2004 is almost ancient history. So, we can figure they have much, much more proof of the soul/spirit that they have not made known to the public.
