Hello, my Dad is suffering from multiple illnesses including prostate cancer that has spread. He's really weak and having a lot of difficulties physically. I'd also like prayer for his spiritual health, he was beginning to focus on the faith and reading his bible a few years ago when a wave of problems including illness enveloped him, now he's in the hospital and from all appearances barely hanging on and I can't shake the feeling that there's more for him to do. I humbly ask for your prayers.

Dear Father, heal and strengthen in Jesus name, cure the prostate cancer and restore his physical health.
I pray that he will focus on you and trust you with his whole being.

I wanted to leave an update about my dad for anyone still praying. I'm confused about what's going on and what's going to happen, he hasn't been too coherent for a couple weeks now, he refuses medical help but then accepts it, sometimes. I get the sense he doesn't want to say certain things so it's almost impossible to communicate at this point because I can't be at the hospital 24/7 and when I have seen him he's been weak and sleepy. It's all very troubling and I don't know what to think. Anyways I appreciate those who have been praying, it means a lot. Thank you.

Today, for the first time in a couple weeks I was able to have a semi coherent conversation with him. Instead of trailing off by the time I'm done asking a question, then going silent, he responded to my questions and generally sounded more like himself. He's a bit confused about what's going on, like he was the last time his hemoglobin levels were low, so I'm worried he'll continue refusing treatment, but I haven't given up. I continue to pray...

Father, I would pray that the greed for money by the medical profession over truly using the means we have to cure cancer would not cause many more to die unnecessarily in the future. I would pray that the general populace and many in the medical world would be healed of the blindness that has been placed upon them regarding the cures for cancer that have already been discovered, and the means for discovering more. Amen.
