Every week is long feeling heavy on me. Each day has it's own challenges of struggles and what feels like sufferings. But come the weekend when less is on my mind, I'm able to have a clearer understanding of how the Lord has loved me through it all. Also how much I have to be thankful for to Him.
This morning I continued as usual to do my best being faithful. I've been trying to memorize Psalms 1 to sing it with praise to the Lord. Just as I would God's word elsewhere. It took more of me and time to give thanks to Him than was expected. After finally being able to memorize and sing to Him, I thought about it shortly what was fruitful about it. I had the third verse in mind where it specifically has "that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper."
What came to mind was how the Lord has taught me. By praising the Lord with song from the heart, I learned commitment and love. How it brought peace to me lessening my worries about myself and everything, gave me hope and courage where there was doubts and fears. Doing not for myself but the Lord showed discipline, revealing myself with and without Him in honesty and truth. So I love the Lord as He has done for me, not only today but all days before and after; thank you Lord for being with me.
