He doesn’t go after goats period. Sheep never become goats. Sheep are always sheep.Jesus will always go after the lost sheep, and the sheep will hear His voice and come back. But He won't go after a goat who doesn't want to follow Him.
Thank God. Someone who knows God’s Word.He doesn’t go after goats period. Sheep never become goats. Sheep are always sheep.

Read it in context though.2 chronicles 15:2
I don't think it's that simple. A goat could have been born-again, but never knew Christ or He them, because in order to know Him, we have to obey His commandments John 14:21. God's sheep obey His commandments. But not everyone who gets baptized and receives the Spirit obey His commandments. Remember that those who Paul was speaking to in his letters were baptized in the Spirit. And he says in no uncertain terms that if they kept living in sin, they would end up in Hell. God will never forsake someone who is sincere in seeking Him, but He will leave someone who stubbornly rejects Him and keeps rejecting Him.But you said God does leave.
A goat was never saved.
So this post is confusing. A goat never had Christ. Christ said He goes after the lost sheep.
I agree. But not everyone who gets baptized in the Spirit ends up being a sheep, only those who surrender to Jesus. He doesn’t go after goats period. Sheep never become goats. Sheep are always sheep.
Nope. The Bible is clear about sheep and goats.I don't think it's that simple. You are a sheep or a goat. There’s no goat-becoming-a-sheep in scripture.I agree. But not everyone who gets baptized in the Spirit ends up being a sheep, only those who surrender to Jesus.
So then the Holy Spirit has no power.I agree. But not everyone who gets baptized in the Spirit ends up being a sheep, only those who surrender to Jesus.
Nope. The Bible is clear about sheep and goats.
A goat is someone who has never turned to Christ.
A sheep is someone who has been saved by the blood of Christ.
No one in the Bible calls a person who has come to Christ a goat. Never
Not everyone who calls Jesus Lord is saved. Matthew 7:22Verses.
Goats are never born again. Goats are always goats. They never become sheep.
If a goat gets saved, they turn into a sheep. Everyone is a goat until they are saved. No one is a sheep from birth. You are a sheep or a goat. There’s no goat-becoming-a-sheep in scripture.
How can you, after reading all of my posts where I speak about how we rely on the work of the Holy Spirit in us and not our own power in any way, then twist my words like this?So then the Holy Spirit has no power.
If God Himself cannot turn a goat into a sheep than who can?
So what you are saying is that the Holy Spirit has no power and only we (if we surrender to Jesus) have the power to make ourselves into sheep?
Not everyone who calls Jesus Lord is saved. Matthew 7:22
Goats never get saved. Goats are always goats. Jesus doesn’t save goats. Only sheep. Not everyone who calls Jesus Lord is saved. Matthew 7:22
Also read all of Matthew 25.
A sheep is not just someone who has been saved by the Blood of Christ, but someone who has been saved by His Blood AND is following Jesus, being one of His disciples. John 8:31-32
Goats may definitely have turned to Jesus for some time but then fell away, or believed in a false Jesus.
If a goat gets saved, they turn into a sheep. Everyone is a goat until they are saved. No one is a sheep from birth.
I quoted your exact post. How can you, after reading all of my posts where I speak about how we rely on the work of the Holy Spirit in us and not our own power in any way, then twist my words like this?

Your post is contradictory. If you read that verse in context, you will see that even though they proclaim to do all kinds of things that they never knew Christ and were false prophets who CAME in SHEEPS clothing. To seem like sheep. IT DOES NOT SAY THEY WERE SHEEP
15“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16“You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20“So then, you will know them by their fruits.
21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’
.
The verse says that ALL who call on the name of Christ, will be saved.
Romans 10:13
13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
That doesn't mean that we turn ourselves into sheep, by our own power. Those were not my words at all. I said nothing that could be interpreted like that.I quoted your exact post.
See it again below. Your words.

How am I suppose to read your words if not the way you wrote them? You said not everyone baptised by the Holy Spirit ends up being a sheep. Your words, right there.
