I agree with that 100% and I tell people that exact same thing often. Which is why I listen to Him and not to myself, and also why I cannot agree with you when you say that sound doctrine is doctrines of demons. And from what I gather that is because you're not seeing the depth of what Scripture actually teaches.

We are chosen, predestined (not predetermined) and preordained from the foundation of the world, by God's foreknowledge and according to His purposes and His perfect will AND we have the free will choice to choose God or choose sin, that is what I have learnt from Scripture and from the Spirit. You seem to view that and other doctrines as dichotomies, but they aren't. All of Scripture is true and we don't have to reject anything.

But yes, let's agree to disagree. I'll pray that the Holy Spirit will keep leading us both into all Truth.

um i dont know, but i dont know why God would give satan that kind of power when it seems like that kind of power would only belong to him. why would God let satan read our thoughts when he tells us to resist the devil and stuff. that doesnt make sense why would God give satan the power to destroy us more. Satan isnt God and never will be.. even the bible condemns satan for trying to be God when in truth also it reveals he is nothing and the father of lies. etc. What does satan need to read our minds for? like i said satan isnt God and never will be so why would God let something that fell from heaven like lightning shatter our minds by reading.our thoughts..lol Cant God be God all by himself.. why would he let the devil share and be apart of his nature and embodiment? actually I dont think satan has any kind of power at. all unless it was given to him from God because only God has power. I think if satan has any kind of power it was given to him from God but..the kind of power God gives him is limited. Satan doesnt even have the premission from God unless God gives him that premission. Because only God is all knowing and all powerful. and i dont think God would share and give his whole essence to anyone else or someone he atleast cant trust like the devil. The devil trys to be like God but he aint and never will be God in all his essence. Satan acts in his own power. His power is his evil nature or self. Its a mutual thing for him. And its natural to him because he is what he is..pure evil
When you evil, you evil, you dont need any special powers because an act of evil is just being evil. Doing evil things because he hateful and dont care. An evil person dont care to think about what they are doing, they dont. even give it a second thought, when they do something evil they do it without a care in thier heart or world because well they are evil..LOL satan acting on his own impulses. and people need to stop blaming the devil for everything, i think if we can choose to do evil, we can choose to do good too.. what we do is our own doing..not everything is the devil...haha like God says resist the devil and he will flee from you. So everything aint the devils work, its how you invite in him and give him that kind of power and besides even if he could read our thoughts, if you know something doesnt align with God and doesnt sound like God then it isnt from God. just ignore it. simple as that. haha Remember Jesus was tempted in the wilderness but Jesus knew the things of God, he had the wisdom to condemn and defeat satan with the truth. hey if you know something doesnt sound right or sound like God, just say "get behind me satan" and ignore it.. thats why we need to grow in wisdom and get wisdom, to know the difference. etc blah blah blah btw the devil didnt make eve do anything, she did that herself, he only planted something in her mind that made her impulse stronger by being slick. If you are weak, the devil will get to you. Eve was weak. and should made adam weak too...haha stop being weak.

I don't think they are omniscient per se, like God is. However, they have had a great deal of experience observing human beings, so perhaps they would not have to.

Maybe they just have some kind of natural ability to read minds as part of being angelic beings.

i dont know i may be wrong but i see it like this, this whole world is evil and cursed. But God gives us the holy spirit to resist this evil and control ourselves in this nature. just because the devil messes with ya dont mean you have to listen to him. Jesus came in the world to teach us about this but since he had to go back to his father and whatnot, and since he cant be here now and isnt physically here anymore or yet, he sent his spirit to remind us of those truths.. and everything he taught us and what we need to know to defeat and overome this evil. were just spiritual beings living in this evil world. this world belongs to the devil..Jesus is not of this world and doesnt belong to it.. haha were walking and living on cursed ground and if you truly have the holy spirit, you can defeat anything because one of the fruits is self control. haha..people there should be no more excuses because God empowers us with all we need to not have one. may the force be with you

how else does he know that I am weak, if its all in the thoughts in my mind?

it only makes perfect sense that he can indeed know our thoughts, otherwise how can he tempt us?

how else does Satan put temptation and evil thoughts into our minds unless he can insert thoughts into them?

Satan invades our brains and hearts and makes us sick and broken in spirit ...

I think Satan is alive and is a spiritual being, yes?

How else does he get around, as a vehicle of evil?

He must be a spirit....how can he be all powerful if he doesn't know what to tempt us with as individuals?

He seems to know how and what to torture us with in our minds-who agrees with these ideas.concepts?

If we are spirit, and god is spirit, then isn't satan spirit as well?

So if he can cause us to sin in our hearts, then how can he know whats in our hearts?

By deduction, he must know whats in our hearts, aka, minds.

i dont know i may be wrong but i think God gives us his spirit to reside in us, in our inner being because thats where God uses the holy spirit to work in us and for the most part its the only place he works in us and likes to work, in our hearts souls and mind. and satan spirit may be only outside of this world because thats the only place it can be. God is spirit yes but God is also God so his spirit isnt limited of anything
so he can reside everywhere and can be anywhere and stay as long as he wants he wants esp. since he cant leave us and never leaves us. ha

and i dont think satan makes anyone do anything, he does like to tempt people though. i think he does that because he knows our flesh is weak and thats where i weak spot is... i dont think satan is the complete cause of our sins, its whether you listen to him or not and give in to those impulses..thats why we must let the holy spirit work completely in us and put on the amour of God, of Christ. Because like us Jesus was also tempted by satan but Jesus defeated him because God was with him and fully developed in him. he knew how to resist satan so satan could flee from him. etc.
i think satan can enter our minds but he cant stay in it long enough. unless you let him..where the presence of God is, he will always flee..because God tears him apart everytime. thats why we must try to resist him and you can only do that if God lives in you because God cant be defeated esp. by satan. Haha and if you are Gods child he cant touch you.. you wont be harm. because Gods children are fully developed and know how to work with thier amour and Gods seed is planted in them.

i also think one of the reasons God never leaves us is because he cant, how can an all powerful all knowing all seeing, a God that fills this whole earth up and below and that is everywhere ever leaves us haha thats crazy. we cant hide from him because well God is everywhere. its like as if a person was possesed by the devil, he obviously enter that person but he can always come out of that person..satan cant stay in us because he isnt God. and since the only way he can come out of that person we have to put on the amour of God and speak with the kingdom of power..(if that makes sense lol )

wait let me correct that, i dont think anyone can speak with the power of God or the power of the kingdom unless it was given to them and i believe only Jesus had that full authority and power to speak with that kind of power on his father behalf. so i believe only Jesus can do that... haha sorry my bad.

lol um.i dont know. i dont know everything..maybe we may never know because maybe that kind of knowledge only belongs to God..but i can guess when you speak and do evil and bad things like him you are listening to him and taking his side..i dont know maybe he speaks in our conscious. maybe..
